Oh weird, what a random record to boot. How can you tell the difference?

More specifically, does anyone happen to have an extra 4th press sleeve? I am looking to replace mine that's beat up.

Again, postage was idiotic. Have you ever emailed Rev and asked them why the postage is so much? I'm in the States but I'm curious what they'd say.

I don’t know a thing about graphic design so I can’t make a really informed comment. I was just flipping through some photos and liked that GB one. I do think that’s one of the better jobs Rev has done, with the embossed cover and the nice marbled vinyl (for the purple at least). Plus it has the full sized insert since this is well before they started going with the one size fits all deal.
I’m more apt to think of covers or color combos I don’t like than ones I do. Others Rev covers that come to mind….I remember thinking when I got the Bold 7” that a pinkish cover looked weird paired with orange vinyl, of course years later we all know how and why that happened.
The (first) YOT reissues….I don’t get so worked up about the covers Rev issued in ’97, I hated it more that the vinyl itself didn’t look good. Clear orange vinyl with the B&W BDTW cover looked totally mismatched. I was ok with the new cover they did for WNITA and liked that it got the marbled vinyl treatment, but as a set those three reissues don’t work together at all. I’m glad they have finally rectified that with the newest reissues, which I think generally look great….although there was no need to do the ugly scrap vinyl for CCME when they were only going to do one color for the other two records.

From the cover art to the vinyl colors to the insert, I think this is one of the best looking records ever.

I would be willing to take that second one of your hands if you don't really want it.

I think they only pressed a few hundred for the Bold 2x lp discography as well.

Does anyone have a copy of the GB lp on black vinyl with the embossed cover to trade or sell?

Not to alarm you, but my copy on white, did not have a Rev color vinyl sticker. No worries, I'm not alarmed I'll pick one up in the next few days and report back on what's inside.

I’d like to get one of those copies of BDTW with the ’97 cover and the Amsterdam labels. Any sealed copies I find in a store would most likely have to be one of these 550, wouldn’t it? I think the last pressing before would have been the white vinyl (un) final press, which would have a sticker on it and wouldn’t be in stores in 2012 anyway. Right? Just checking.

I guess no one knows what the $100 tickets gets you, record wise? Sounds like they're doing an lp for the show and then you get other assorted goodies?

in addition to being super into REV records i'm really shamelessly into old Hardline and HL related records. so i gotta ask you, what's the deal with the back of the limited sleeve of the Hardball 7" that says "fuck you Rob-R-Rock, you better watch your back bitch!" I know Rob put out the Hardball 7" but there was some kind of drama between him and the band. I don't remember exactly but I think he ignored what the band wanted on the cover and just made his own covers? And he was no stand-up businessman back then, so I'm sure there were some financial shenanigans going on as well.

I was absolutely part of the New Start Posse I grew up in Winston-Salem, Rob R-Rock was like a year older than most of my crew so he was the godfather of the scene when we were in high school. I loved Naked Angels and was convinced back then that if their Pornocracy lp had come out on a US label (instead of Break Even Point overseas) they would have been more popular.
