I was poking around on Discogs and noticed that some dude was selling number 0763 so I took a shot and asked him if there was any handwritten message inside the sleeve. He told me there wasn't. If the messages aren't just written randomly and are bunched together in the neighborhood of the numbers we've found in the 800's, we can see that they were not created earlier than 0763..... unless they were random.
I'm retarded.

So far they all seem to pop up consistently in the earlier 800s, what was it? 810, 814, 824 and 847?? Not sure if I remembered them all correctly, so unless we find a random number that's other than in that range the "bunched together" theory seems to be plausible.

There's a #674 that has it too, see last page.

I thought about that... I'd like to know if it's done in the telltale blue ink pen or not. Seeing as this one has red vinyl and clearly should NOT because they're supposed to be in the sleeves #'ed from 1001-2000, this may be some sort of Frankensteined version. Still really cool tho...

I think the "party in full swing/haze of weed smoke when they got to the 800s" is the MOST plausible theory haha

But I don't think there is any chance that there was any marijuana being blown around Ray Cappo or John Porcelly's apartment in the year 1987. Those guys were X'ed up BIG TIME back then. Weren't they?

I've seen some Gilman copies with handwritten numbers instead of the stamp. Really? I find that to be quite bizarre. I'm guessing the inkpads for the stampers went dry, so they had to just hand write them on the fly??? Too lazy to run to the nearest store for another inkpad, I guess.

I got a Discogs email yesterday with that same SOIA numbered 0763 in it and I sent the seller the same message you sent him, asking if there is a hand written message on the inside of the sleeve in light blue ink pen. That dude must think we are all nuts... ;-)

I have 2 of these w/ writings inside the sleeve. 1) #0830 (The Brady Girls) 2) #0674 (Sic of the kedas, or so), hard to read. This came w/ red vinyl. Hey there again xflamestillburnsx, Again: Can you PLEASE post some photos up on here of those 2 Sick of it All 1st press sleeves of yours, with the hand written (The Brady Girls) and (Sic of the kedas, or so) light blue ink messages inside them? You would make us all very happy to see them. Thanks again, Dom

And if he can precisely describe that for me. And that if he describes what I'm looking (actually smelling) for, I'll pay DOUBLE his asking price. Be bold, smell the mould.

Then he will definitely think we are all nuts... I could see it now. He reads the message and says to himself, "Uhhh, wait a minute! Did this dude just ask me to smell the inside of this SOIA sleeve and describe the smell to him?" Oh man! I love this board! Great stuff rtr! Utterly HILARIOUS!!!

Posting in this thread too. #6xx, #7xx plus a whole bunch of #8xx numbers. Looks like the scribblings are pretty random.
