I got the light blue one today. The difference is stunning. They look like two different pressings. Attachments:

Do you recon it was pressed in two batches? Or are there maybe some shades in between?

Yeah, I think with these small numbers pressed it's definitely lack of consistency on the pressing plant part. Then pellets they dropped into the bucket: to create the mould for the swirl they need pure blue - which I am guessing was that dark shade of blue and a bit of white for the swirl. I'm just guessing the white didn't mix in evenly hence the dark blue and the light blue. I bet exactly same thing happened to the GB 2nd press.

It's the guy from the pressing plant spitting in the machine while in the making. His way of saying: fuck you record collectors, fuck you revelation, fuck straight edge, fuck hardcore, fuck these tattood guys... I say: boycot these records with smutches don't buy em
Somehow this popped up in my mind hahaha

Seems a lot like the quicksand RSD 7"s where there was a dramatic difference between light and dark blue (plus a lot of transition in between)

Quicksand RSD was basically two pressings. The darker pressing differt a lot in color.

I'm not a quicksand guy but with those RSDs one pressing seemed to be just a flat colour and the other was swirly or am I misremembering things? I'm on the train to work watching The Trip (which is brilliant by the way) so can't check.

The light yellow burn, light blue quick and dark red yot were all on this weird pirate press looking colours while the dark yellow, dark blue and light red looked a lot more normal.

I do know that Burn and YOT were pressed in two batches also. But I didn't see such a wide range of different shades. It was either light (1 batch) or dark (other batch).

I got it and will send you his pic in a DM! i auto adjusted it, and its blue. not grey. edit: i brought the image into photoshop and adjusted the colors. the vinyl ended up matching the text of the cover. it was a touch lighter in color, but not enough for me to think about tracking one down.

I got the light blue one today. The difference is stunning. They look like two different pressings. Was thinking of picking up one of these blues in a store, but does anyone know if there's anything that distinguishes a sealed blue from the other colors that came before? I'm guessing anything in a store now is likely blue but just in case....
