I love YOT and the artwork of the CCME 7", so when Rev repressed the 12" version using the original cover art, I was totally into it ! You know what happened, while the RED vinyl pressing of 443 is the rarer, the purple marble press of 562 came out with many variations; somebody wrote something about Rev wanting to spare some money so went for a cheaper press, so the plant didn't print them in a uniform way, not sure what happened but somehow I got caught up in trying to collect as many variations of this I can. So far I have these ones, if anybody has a different version, please get in touch and we'll work something out !

Hi Paolo, See dobek's website/info/pictures crucialxtimes.com/xdx/?p=9455"All 5 are part of the same “purple marble” / 562 pressing even though they look like 5 different pressings. Seeing this was pressed from scraps there must be a ton of transitions from one colour to another. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was yet another 6th version that is significantly different from these, like “GB purple” for example. Who knows. For now I’m throwing a towel but not before I post a photo of all of these together:" I have to check my colours comparing to yours, but i think i have 1 or double versions that you might not have. jeff xXx

Hey Paolo, Your 3 greys look very much alike to me, only a bit more or less black spots in some of them. But maybe it's the lighting...

Yes they look very similar, only slight differences (one in particular looks more"violet" ), I assume that every copy has slight swirl differences so from now on I will only add copies that look significantly different.

At the moment i'm holding on on dobek's picture with the 5 different versions, but paolo i'm waiting for your picture(without holding them to the light to see what the correct difference is)
If you look at dobeks's picture from left to rigth:
It looks like you have 2 light grey version(no:4) they don't seem to have alot of differences, but the little darker one with a little purple looks almost like number 3, but looks to be a in between colour from number 3 and 4 perhaps?(your more purple/reddish colour is to much in the light to compare)
I have from dobek's picture number 2,3,4 and have 1 of them also double(but still have to look which one it is ;-))

might as well go and collect all 562 of 'em. I was talking with Marcus about this and we concluded that collecting a lot of variations of this press is pointless because there must be at lest 40 different colours in there.. or more.. Jordan told me they used the scrap vinyl to press these. It's where the plant collects bits and ends of all other presses and throws it all together in the mix. Hence you get all these weird colours. Fuck that. I'd be happy to trade away 2 or 3 of the 5 copies that I have.

i agree...i hate when labels do "scrap" runs. looks stupid. i love YOT and REV as much as the next guy but i DID NOT buy one of those reissues for CCME. shoulda done it proper.

Filter The Infection... what an amazing record! I got this from a trade, at first I thought I had problem with my eyes because this should be on "white vinyl" but looks more like "creamy-peach vinyl" hahahaaa.. so I compared this LP with other "white vinyl" from revelation I got: Ignaurus on white, Kill Holiday on white and Mouthpiece Discography on white.. and I was right its definitely a "variation". Does anyone has this record and can compare it?? here are some pics.. oh yeah.. I need a better camera.

Ok I have updated my YOT CCME 2011 press of 562 on "purple" collection... so this looks more or less like a complete transition, and I think I am done with this, unless someone comes up with a very different color variation. I have an extra copy of the one in the middle, just in case anybody needs it get in touch, I'm selling it for cheap.

wow, nice one Geoff, how much copies did you buy before you came accross this version? for once, i only had to the buy the two. luck was on my side this time around. the possible variation was brought to my attention (thank you!), and at first i wasnt too sure about it. it looked darker but not that much like the one i pictured. then a month later, i saw one on ebay that was for sure darker than mine. so i just waited a little bit longer so that rev sold out of of the first couple boxes of the records and ordered one. i dont think its going to be that uncommon, and should be pretty easy for other people to grab both of them. rev nerdery at its best.

finally something to add to this thread. Thanks Geoff, i just added this one again to my want list! Now I want a darker version too! It's Walter related and what i think, YOT's best album, so i need one. Too bad this is the REVboard and a REV topic, because Voice Box would have fitted nicely in this topic ;-)

I've just checked mine and it's dark blue. I'm super tempted to pick up the light one now.
