ok, some people get all bent out of shape over variants. are they a legit pressing? are they worth more? this threads not about that, i just want to see variant pictures. theres tons out there too. but the downside is having to have two to compare them half the time. so some people have them and dont even know it. heres one i really like.

good thread, I wish Dobek would post his pic of the different variants of the YOT "CCME" 12" 2011 repress on purple... I am currently focused on getting the more variations I can on that one !

I take we mean variants in colour / shade of vinyl. Rather than Sleeve/Lyric sheets ect?

this should get posted in here too. not all of the records i post are mine, just images i have kept over the years. just like the tumblr person, im not too worried about posting them without permission. if someone gets irritated just let me know.

so awesome. Geoff, that dark green GB is super dark. also i need to find the other orange 9mm color transitions ( light green, dark green and that pink one) that orange 9mm photo is really bad. the colors are completely off. i was debating on posting it because its not a good representation at all. your photo from way back is much better showing the color, and the variant in between them. i hope you dont mind, but i dug up your photo (its the best one out there):

not much of a color change, but still fun to look at. not really note worthy at all, but im sure there are other darker versions out there. this record can be bought for next to nothing so im sure i someone will track a variant down.

Here's a better picture of trhe Quicksand RSD 7" variation - although the differences looks more pronounced in real life than I could capture on my iPhone. The 4th one I just picked up fits in between the darkest and medium color.

Sweet! I was always thinking their was only 3 variations and 2 variations of the YOT and Burn single.

this is some what of a variant seeing that every record ive seen is different. when you look at the quicksand it looks like normal white vinyl, but when you hold it to the light, its not at all. lots of swirls. some have a bunch, some seem not to have them at all. yet they all look the same if you dont hold them to the light.

Haha wonder how many rev photos geoff has on his PC - is your wife scared / worried? the funny thing is that image came off of my work computer. i didnt have it at home. luckily my wife has always known i was a record collector. in fact one of the first things she ever bought for me was the first h20 7" on evr when it came out. she knows my nerdy record collecting self pretty darn well now, and is really tolerant of it.
