This is the most important thread on the Rev board yet. I love this. Keep those "I'm not sure if this is the mix" pictures coming. Haha i agree. I would call this just normal regular orange. I'm sorry i don't have better news.

No worries - I wasn't looking for good news it's not mine to begin with. Was just curious. It looks a little more salmon than my own copy, that was all.

I got all Dobek and scanned all my Bold 7"s and laid them out in photoshop. The center one in is the one that was on ebay recently that did $200, as discussed recently in the Rev on Ebay thread. Direct link if anyone wants to see it at full res: i.imgur.com/855Hi7S.jpg

I like that you laid out the Bold 7"s with the labels all the right way up. Dobek's random approach always bothered me in his pic.

I know that lighting can affect the color of the vinyl, but my orange/pink mix that I got from Kyle Whitlow looks to fit in the third position of colintappe's picture. http://instagram.com/p/0gnZMmkrXA

FUN FACT If you own a copy of Bold's self-titled 7" from 1989, you may have wondered why the band was pictured as a three-piece on the back cover of the record. The photo, from left to right, shows guitarist Tom Capone, vocalist Matt Warnke, and drummer Drew Thomas. But bass player Tim Brooks is missing. The shoot was sometime in the spring of 1989, and legend has it that Tim, still in high school at the time, had an AP biology test that he couldn't miss, so he had to sit out the photo session. Meticulous observers out there may notice that Tom Capone is wearing the same shirt in the Bold photo as he wears on the back cover of Shelter's "Perfection Of Desire" LP. And while his freshly cut hair and boyish good looks are the same, that LP photo was indeed taken on a different day by Shelter frontman Ray Cappo at the Anthrax during their recording session. If you don't feel like digging out both records, see the two photos here: revhq.com/images/misc/404/TomCaponeBoldShelter.jpg

Alright gentlemen, I got a fairly wild score recently. A friend of a friend got a stack of records from a fella who worked at a pressing plant and seemingly just stashed cool looking records during his tenure (pic discs, color viny, etc.). You can see where this is going, right? He had three Bold 7"s, 2 pinks and 1 orange, which are now mine. The odd thing is that the pinks are a LITTLE darker, and more marbled than the lighter ones I've seen, which are more in keeping with the shade xreganx posted above from IG. Anyhoo, take a look and let me know if you've seen copies like this. I took a pic next to the Burn 7" for reference: They're all pretty different, I'm tempted to just keep them all. I don't know, it's an interesting find to be sure. Repost these so i can see them
