The best way to show these in full glory is to scan the records. I found the scanner is always consistent in white balance / exposure while photos are all over the place when it comes to showing colours exactly as they are The streaky dark pink looks very boss. My one is like the light one at the top Ask and you shall receive.. Here's the light pink for reference:  The A and B on one:   The A and B on the other one:   |

I was about to start touching myself looking at these.
Very very cool.
Both dark pink ones look very unusual. Unusual enough to want to keep all three.
I like how that last one comes with a ton of random swirls in random colours.
It's a shame the labels are a bit fucked up though. Still probably the coolest BOLD set in existence followed closely by Geoff's one with that crazy pink splotch transition.

It is seriously like it is just ABSOLUTELY NOT MEANT TO BE FOR ME TO EVER OWN ONE OF THESE RECORDS ? ? ? ! ! !
I actually gave up trying to get myself one of these pink Bold recs A LOOONNNGGG TIME AGO . . .
Definitely the most underrated record in the "Hardest Revelation Records To Hunt Down" category ! ! !

Alright gentlemen, I got a fairly wild score recently. A friend of a friend got a stack of records from a fella who worked at a pressing plant and seemingly just stashed cool looking records during his tenure (pic discs, color viny, etc.). You can see where this is going, right? He had three Bold 7"s, 2 pinks and 1 orange, which are now mine. The odd thing is that the pinks are a LITTLE darker, and more marbled than the lighter ones I've seen, which are more in keeping with the shade xreganx posted above from IG. Anyhoo, take a look and let me know if you've seen copies like this. I took a pic next to the Burn 7" for reference:     They're all pretty different, I'm tempted to just keep them all. I don't know, it's an interesting find to be sure. Badass treasure you hunted down Colin! Congrats! They look great. A "normal" pink is almost insane but this....! And after 25 years...makes you wonder what other stuff is out there. Did he know about the value of records like these? I hope he didn't so you had a steal...but that probably ain't the fact. Talking about "steal" ...can one work at a pressing plant just take those or did he pay for them haha. And i'm sure if the guy had other never seen before vinyl you would have told it here right? Or are you gonna release one of them next month? :-p |

Haha, well, to add to the insanity, these were actually found at a swapmeet, and the guy who bought them (the friend of my friend) got them for $2 each! The guy who bought them from the swapmeet guy definitely knew the value, which was reflected in what I paid (not that I'm complaining, I was ecstatic when my friend asked if I was interested in buying).
I'm sure its gotta be some kind of illegal to pilfer records from the plant you work at, but who's filing charges for that, y'know? If anything these were probably on the way to the dumpster.
If anything as jaw dropping as the Bolds show up, I'll come here first (I posted these within the hour of getting them in my hands). Needless to say, I assume my buddy's friend will be at the swapmeet every week waiting to see if anything similar pops up.

Alright, so this sounds kind of sketchy, but believe it or not a THIRD copy surfaced from that swapmeet guy. It winds up in the hands of a friend of mine, and I liked the 3rd copy that came up more than that marbly one I posted, so I swapped it out and now my buddy's looking to get rid of it.
Long story short: a friend of mine's selling that marbly copy I posted (the last one one in the series of scans). Be forewarned that it's in about VG condition (plays through, no skips, but lots of pops) and has that hubwear, so don't expect a perfect copy. Here's my friend's e-mail, hit him up with offers:
