Guess who got the other test press? Rev 89. (If it makes you feel any better, I ordered 2 when they first announced and 2 more when I saw the pic). Here's the second box (1st one also just had CDs and YOT labels but the CDs included battery and TITR).

OK, so who did I outbid on the discog test press? Me. I thought it would go significantly higher. Threw a bid on for the helluva it. Surprised I was second.

I've had very good experiences with Rev where if something was damaged in my order - I email them and they usually replace it right away (for free and not even requiring me to send the damaged version back). Instead of bitching on here, why don't you contact them, explain the situation, and see if they'll do anything about it.

Just curious - why would you think folks would want to pay more for records than they can pay if they buy from rev, discord, etc? Most of these records are still available.

My last few Rev pick-ups:
Texas is The Reason - Do You Know Who You Are? - on WHITE and very nice shape (damn thing is hard to find. I traded my last one for a Walter Schreifels test and almost immediately regretted it because I picked up a second test for $60).
32 Frames - Test Press - #3/32 (picked it up for $32 - It's a sign...). I know it's not really Rev but close enough. Not really sure why - it was pretty cheap I guess.
NFAA 7" - boot. Didn't realize it when I bought it - thought it was the 4th press. Oh well.
Non-rev pick-ups
Another Shot for Bracken Comp. - Positive Force - Test Press (with Youth of Today, Verbal Assault, etc.)
A bunch of Quicksand vinyl (re-releases on SRC - all the various colors), shirts (from the shows) and posters (from shows and ebay).
Will trade any of this - looking for rare quicksand stuff.

When you're record goes through the mail system, I guarantee there are much heavier boxes and other things that sit on it than that dude.

I heard they were getting paid a lot of money (which rev probably couldn't offer) - and not that I see anything wrong with that. Already got my tickets. I just hope I can make it.

Oh c'mon - there are tons of non-rev related threads and pics on this board. I don't see any problem with Chain and Crucial Youth pics... (and Quicksand pics which I posted - but not all rev.). I just like to see cool pics of collections... The thread title isn't "rev only pics."

I had one years ago that was #8 I believe - and my cover was "bumpy" if that makes sense. It wasn't smooth or glossy - it was more of an off white and the paper was textured. Anyone ever see one like that? Or is that the standard "matte" cover.

Yes - I am not aware of any Slip bootlegs on color. There is a bootleg that looks very close to the OG pressing on black vinyl - same labels, inserts, etc (but the color is off - I can post pics if people want to see) - and there's another version with white labels. Since we're sharing Quicksand - here is some of my collection. I think I have posted some of these before: Shirts: One of the coolest promo pieces I've seen: Press kits, posters, CD singles, stickers, etc.: Vinyl (this is old, have a bunch more to add): Promo tapes: CD singles: Walter Schriefels Solo LP and two tests: The original moondog art:

We had a discussion about this oddity in another thread. The white press has the lyrics printed on the vinyl sleeve. But it's not clear if the insert lyric sheet is a later press or just part of the same press. There is also a Euro version that came with a fan club reply card.

Count me in as one who never got to see them live and would love to do so now.
I just don't understand the sentiment that it is somehow sacrilegious for bands to get together and play a few songs - particularly for newer fans or folks who never saw them back in the day. Not everyone lived in NYC.
I love Judge and while I have no doubt it wouldn't be the same - I would pay a lot of money to see them.

Seller probably backed out because someone on here wrote the seller, told him to say it was scratched, and offered $500 or something.

Nice one, but you are missing some? ;-) If i'm correct from the white vintl you have 1 version with the turqoise insert and 1 with the the black/white insert.(i sold both of mine already so can't help you with that) Is your black vinyl a 1st pressing with turquoise insert, or a later pressing with black/white insert? or the 4/11 version? And from the green one do you have the totally green clear version, or the one with the black "thumb" spot on it? I have the following still for sale if you're interested please email me at: xfoundxyoux@yahoo.com QUICKSAND: S/T(7inch)revelation records #18(1st. pressing)(with turquoise insert) QUICKSAND: S/T(7inch)revelation records #18(later pressing)(with black/white insert) QUICKSAND: S/T(7inch)revelation records #18(4/11 pressing) QUICKSAND: S/T(7inch)revelation records #18(last pressing)(GREEN VINYL) QUICKSAND: S/T(7inch)revelation records #18(last pressing)(GREEN VINYL)(with black thumb/spot) jeff xXx Thanks - I think I have all of these. I have two black copies with the turquoise insert. I think I also have a 4/11 version. I haven't seen a white version with the turquoise insert. I have the green smudge version (and am getting a "smudge-free green" version). The version I DO want is your test press. When you're ready to sell that, let me know!
