Saying that Ragnar gets fucked by snakes is a bit like telling that Jesus will eventually get crucified in the Passion of Christ. Or that the Germans will lose the war in Der Untergang. It's no spoiler.

Manchester by the Sea has a scene with the 16 year old supporting role character (Patrick) with a Bridge Nine banner in his bedroom. Good movie.

Warning: SPOILERS The legend goes they carried the Boneless into the battle on a shield. I wonder if they'll implement that into the series. About Ragnar's death. I was curious as to how they'll make him end up in that snake pit. I thought it was going to be either a capture type deal or that he'll give himself up. Which he did. It was quite well executed. What wasn't well done was the death itself. I wondered how they will handle the adders. Real? CGI? and up to the moment they unleashed the snakes it was brilliant but then... a fucking forehead slap. I spotted no adders, well, no venomous snakes at all. Nothing. I saw some Pythons which are found in... Africa, Asia, and Australia as well as Boa Constrictors and I think Gopher Snakes???, which are native to... both Americas. Lol of the show. Glossing over the fact that Saxons, or any other Europeans for that matter will not know about any other continents for... well... hundreds of years, them getting their hands on those species looks a work of Merlin. Someone with a mentality of Trump thought that up. "We'll use the pythons! And boas! It's going to be tremendous!" They should have used the fucking adders. Then again, being bitten to death by the constrictors is a shitty way to go. It's a bit like being clubbed to death with a sponge baseball bat. A fucking sisyphean task. Lol

"20th Century Women"
One scene has the mom (Annette Bening) playing Black Flag "Nervous Breakdown" on a record player trying to understand the lyrics...and punk rock. A lot of punk and skateboard scenes and references.
Rotten tomatoes: During the summer of 1979, a Santa Barbara single mom and boardinghouse landlord (Annette Bening) decides the best way she can parent her teenage son (Lucas Jade Zumann) is to enlist her young tenants - a quirky punk photographer (Greta Gerwig), a mellow handyman (Billy Crudup) and her son's shrewd best friend (Elle Fanning) - to serve as role models in a changing world.

Just found out that Albert Rosenfield 's dead... That made me sad. He has delivered some of the more memorable quotes in TP.

Just deep into season 3 of daredevil. It's excellent and pretty dark. I hate the majority of Marvel films these days ( Logan being an exception) but they usually do a straight up job with the TV shows.
