With all these crazy collections going on on this board (Rev and non-Rev), let's talk numbers here. My record list tells me I have a grand total of 67 Bane records, and three more are on the way. I've been well aware that I have a lot of Bane records, but the sheer number shocked me a little bit today, hence the idea for the thread. Next would be Good Clean Fun (51) and Sick Of It All (41) for me.

If we are counting records that are on the way as well then my Youth of Today collection will be 55 in total (5 on the way). But one of those on the way might be a double of one I already have. I also a copy which is a bit of a Frankenstein press with mixed up record and insert. So could be 53 if you don't count those.
Followed by The First Step - 37 and then True Colors - 32.

I roughly estimate there has to be at least 200+ versions of that 7" alone out there lol
Can anyone think of another ONE release that was pressed on more variants than that 7"?

Anyone out there crazy enough to even attempt to collect Have Heart??

Yeah, he's got a complete collection.
That makes 65 variants, although I'm not sure cause I got dizzy counting them.
I suspect that the HH demo is the winner if you don't count stuff like Beatles etc different countries pressings maybe
Do tapes/demos count? ;-)

i have 180 unique Hot Water Music records, plus an additional 25 doubles.
34 Lifetime records, which is all the OG records minus one
35 Give records, nearly all except 2 and transition colors (I have a possible line on those 2 and transitions, ehh..)
plus all the Swiz and Crucial Youth and ~20 Turning Point, Life's Blood, Yuppicide, Small Brown Bike, etc...

I think I once saw a picture of someone's collection with the LPs laid out in the yard. The picture was taken either from a step ladder or from a window on the first floor. |

this is funny. because i never intended to collect yot records unless the ones from revelation.
i just realised, that i have a lot of them aswell.
but i guess its a normal fact that if you colletc revelation, ww, schism and other classic labels, bands that there are always the same few bands that are in the top 10 of most records per band.
to me, the number of how many record per band isn't that important.
cause if you're a completist like most of us you have more or less the same amount of recrods per band. +- tests, anomalies, mixes....
but its fun to see, what some collect besides those classics.
super surprised about Hot water Music. loved them back in the days, but didn't listend to them ever since.
gotta spin it right now.

See them in a week ;-) ha ha my flat is not that big to lay them all on the floor ha ha ha .... i'll will be in nijmegen too ....also in a couple of other country's as always when they are on tour .... since 1988 that was my first show i saw - i saw them 84 times when this current tour is over |

I haven't counted yet but I guess around 50 Quicksand records and another 40 from other Walter singing bands (Walking Concert, Rival Schools, Moondog, Walter Schreifels solo, etc).

super surprised about Hot water Music. loved them back in the days, but didn't listend to them ever since. gotta spin it right now. Hot Water Music are one of my all time favorites. Although some of their later stuff is hit or miss, they still rule. I remember when Fuel for the Hate Game came out - it was a watershed moment. We were awestruck we when heard it. I just cranked it right now as i was working in the garden. Plus, Chuck Ragan is the nicest person in hardcore. A fine human being with always a kind word, to old friends and the umpteenth person trying to shake his when he's at the urinal alike. |

Most record i have from a band is unbroken with around 45 copies includes some comps (4-5 copies)and still plenty to come....

I never realized how insane my GI collection actually was.
It has even reached a point where have sent extra copies and a test or two to Stabb.
