OK, so not all Dutch people... :-)
Something went wrong for some of us and the items weren't shipped. But he promised to throw in some goodies...
I have the music already so that's the good part!

Not really a pre-order cuz it just dropped but... new No Warning 7" entitled Resurrection of the Wolf. Supposedly limited to 500 copies and you can pick it up from Bad Actors Inc, RevHQ, Bridge 9 or Reflections. Details can be found at resurrectionofthewolf.com but I doubt it will be around for long. I'm looking forward to it...

The Chain LP green vinyl looks a bit like the GB 7" green vinyl...

Pre-order and new release info posts only please... Let's keep it compact, and discuss vinyl colours, new purchases, etc. elsewhere.

Supertouch, white vinyl, preorder on REVHQ. Phew! I was starting to get twitchy. It's been at least a week since Rev repressed something on a new color.

Yeah, I'm starting to wonder how long this is going to last.. Until they have repressed their entire catalogue on at least three new colours would be my guess. There has to come a point when they overfeed the market, which is a small number of people who already have these records but buy every single one of those represses. Ie: everyone here, including moi. I really don't think that by now there are many people buy the vinyl of anything REV 1-40+ because they don't have it. I guess that 90%+ is produced for that small group of vinyl nerds and I can only assume that everyone in that small group must have a breaking point that once reached it will make them go "That's a bit silly innit?" I guess we will know whenever the next (or next, next or possibly even next, next, next, next) repress of YOT CCME out of 449 will sit in the webstore for 3-4 years, like the JUDGE NYC 7" with yellow glossy covers and 1997-2001 represses used to. I used to see those in Tower Records in London well into mid 2000s. I'm just feeling that by now the excitement of a hunt is completely gone out of this game. It's simply pressing next-next-next in the revhq webstore and waiting a week or so for the package after paying 3x shipping. It's becoming an almost automated action. New repress?? Add > Log in > Next > Next > Confirm > Pay > Wait > Receive > Shelve Done. Getting records used to be fun...

I just got rid of almost all of my CDs so I have a bunch of credit at my local record store, and I'm not sure I'm even willing to burn credit on these represses.

Getting records used to be fun... Thats so true! And those represses you only take out of the shelve for making a new picture with all previous and future pressings to show them together! Right? They are just spacefillers in the shelve and a waste of $$ But i guess i buy some of them anyways! Damn!

Some of them I get really excited about and have to have and some of them I buy just because of being a psychotic collector. But I think the bottom line is if everyone keeps buying them then they're more likely to keep making more. I must admit that it's quite fun to see what they'll come up with next. There are definitely some I'm hoping will be repressed...

There are definitely some I'm hoping will be repressed... And those are....? Putting me on the spot eh? Lol... Anything Chain or Bold I'm always gonna look forward to - I don't care if they press a hundred varieties. Someone either on this board or a different board (can't remember) suggested putting both Burn 7"es onto one 12" and that sounds really cool to me. I'd like to see some surprises like that. I was really happy they did The Way It Is on green and was surprised by the choice of Slipknot for RSD as I think many people were. A couple of personal faves of mine I wouldn't mind buying a new version of are (this is where I'll get made fun of) Better Than A Thousand and Morning Again. Yup. But mostly I just wanna be surprised with some less expected choices and creativity. I really enjoyed the 4x7" Rev 25 Chicago set. That was a cool idea. More of a "special edition" than a repress. Keep em coming...

I have the repress from the summer of 2004, I think it was 10 bucks. Great stuff, well worth the money.
