Post up pre-orders of releases so others may become aware of them, as we can't keep track of everything on our own. Please keep this thread compact so we can easily see if new records are available, and not have to filter through lengthy off-topic discussions. Thanks. Up at Irish Voodoo Records, the pre-order for the DONE DYING 7" /mcd w/ Dan 'O Mahoney, Kevin Panter, Mike Heartsfield. Sounds a bit like Speak 714, which to me, is great. Very limited runs, TOO limited if you ask me. 100 clear (sold out) 100 red 100 black irishvoodoorecords.com/archives/category/store

yeah, too limited if you ask me. there is going to be a REV-distro version. and mostly REV takes about 300 pieces so I'll wait for that one...
cool thread by the way, I also can not keep up. so please post anything worthy on here.

I've just read that SFU is going to release a Shark Attack discography LP, it's going to be a solid release!

Does anyone still collect MENTAL? They were huge way back when and now are sort of forgotten but there are two new releases in the B9 store.
By the way, as a comparison to REV tactics: I ordered 3 LPs and a couple of posters from B9 and sure enough the postage for regular air mail came up to $50 I didn't even email them with any concrete complaint. I only put this in the order comment box: "$50 postage for 3 LPs = WOW!" and within 48 hrs I got the "order shipped" confirmation email followed by paypal refund of close to $20 That is fair. No explanations about the shitty system, that they will change it, that there's nothing they can do, no bullshit. What REV does, trying to weasel their way out of refunding all of us the money they pocket for nothing is just plain wrong.
Edit: by "two new releases" I meant two different versions of the Oxygen Tank pressed on a 12"

I feel "more fucked" over by Bridge9 than I did by REVhq. REVhq overcharges everyone; in some cruel way that is more fair than what Bridge9 did.
I overpaid for those Champion reissues on Bridge9 and a friend of mine ordered the same and got a free Champion LP on green as compensation for the overpaid shipping and I got nothing.
I actually had to order a package deal with stuff I dont care about and a LP I already have to get that LP on green plus I had to pay too much for shipping again.

I think it depends on who is working on your order at revhq, because for many years now i put in the info in the remarks/comments(before making the order) that there is a fault in the calculation for international orders and if they can take the correct amount of the total order+correct shipping price from my credit card.
And overall this is done is 50%(a lower total amount of my credit card, than the actual total order costs in the first place), with the other 50% it is probably done by someone that don't want to do this, perhaps to much work for them to correct it in all the info or anything? etc.
What i also ask in that same remarks/comments, is if they can put in and outside the package a fake (lower) packinglist to avoid paying incoming tax, what happened a few times already and those customs persons have a really strange way of calculating those taxes, but to receive your package when the postalperson brings it you need to pay that amount straight away otherwise the package will be send back to the sender, so that is not an option, so if you pay then you get the info that you can send the customs a complaint, but that is also a lost cause because nothing comes out of it.

From my experience and stories I heard from others (like Marcus who got some pretty cool shit for some fuck up that I can't recall now what it was exactly but I think he got Champion PK on white?) Chris has always gone out of his way to straighten everything out. Mishaps etc. It has maybe not always worked, for example I never got my Stand & Fight LP preorder, emailed them and they said it was shipped so there was nothing they could do etc but generally I know they at least try to fix shit when it goes south. Rev on the other hand is all about excuses (extremely poor excuses at that) and zero action to make things better. I think you're being unfair Nico by saying that ripping everyone off is more fair than ripping just a random few individuals off while at least attempting to straighten things out with the rest. lol

From my experience and stories I heard from others (like Marcus who got some pretty cool shit for some fuck up that I can't recall now what it was exactly but I think he got Champion PK on white?) Chris has always gone out of his way to straighten everything out. Well remembered! Four years ago Chris read a comment I wrote on my blog which was pretty unkind about his label, and emailed to ask what the problem was. I explained a mail order error that I had experienced in 2004 and as a result he ended up sending me a white Champion LP in release show sleeve. This absolutely proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he cares. Here's the post I put on my blog about it at the time: endlessquestrecords.blogspot.co.uk/2009/06/promises-kept.htmlRev on the other hand is all about excuses (extremely poor excuses at that) and zero action to make things better. I don't entirely agree with this though. Only recently I had a Rev order go wrong. I pre-ordered three Rival Mob LPs (one gold, two black) but when the package came I realised that I only got sent one gold and one black. I emailed and explained and the dude ended up sending me a green copy to make up for it. The email exchange took weeks and they were pretty slow, but they sorted it in the end. Again, here's the story:endlessquestrecords.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/rev-justice.htmlPersonally, I never have too many problems and when I do I seem to manage to resolve most of them. But I think shipping prices are a different issue altogether to be honest. After all of this waffle, I don't know of any cool pre-orders at the moment though. Sorry!

Folks, could you be so kind to take the Rev shipping discussions to the thread that PoisonXGirls made? It's on page 2 right now. Thanks. I think short posts of pre-orders is a practical idea for here. ;-)

But I did feel bummed out about this at the time. Since he was overcharged exactly the same and got that record for free and I had to shell out another 60 bucks for a package deal which contains some random stuff and another record I already had. Maybe I should have complained a bit more on my end about it.

I don't know what they're charging but new shipping rates in the USA are insane. Shipping 2 LP's overseas costs almost $25. gatefold LP's make it jump to almost $30! it really sucks. Maybe when the USPS isn't in debt they'll re-think their outrageous postage rates.

If you kids are into metal I'm releasing a 7" by Tellusian from Sweden (LP to come in the winter). Testpresses are approved so now we're playing the waiting game with the pressing plant. Hopefully early October. Will be easily available in the states as well. No buy-link up yet but you can hear it here!: pillowscars.bandcamp.com/album/scania-7

I just read that the Sinking Ships repress now has newly re-mastered audio. I always thought that it already sounded great. It will be interesting to see what it sounds like. Burgundy vinyl will look cool too !

Burgundy vinyl will look cool too ! I'm excited as well. Sinking Ships is my absolute favorite band of all time and I'm trying very hard to build my collection. I know some of the guys on here have some of their Sinking Ships records that they'd like to sell and as soon as I'm a bit more financially stable I intend to buying them. I'm really excited for a Shelter repress as well!

Non-Rev related:
Victory just repressed Warzone - Sound of Revolution. Looks like there is black, clear-smoke, and white -- all three with limited pressings.

Once again, please post discussions or pressing info questions in other threads, thanks. In general, Revelation puts up the pressing info a few weeks after releasing, and most pressings are in the 500-1000 range I'd say. HEADFIRST-"COMPLETE RECORDINGS 1987-1992" 3xLP (red vinyl) just out on Indecision Records indecisionrecords.storenvy.com/products/2979708-headfirst-the-complete-recordings-1987-1992-3xlpUPCOMING: INSTED-COMPLETE DISCOGRAPHY 2LP (late 2013) REASON TO BELIEVE-DISCOGRAPHY LP (early 2014) (yeah)
