I'm a little curious. I have a test press of "the way it is" with the normal issue jacket except the spine is blue. I also have a 1st press, a later press and a final press all with green spines. I can't see any other differences besides that. Anyone else have a blue spine?
It's not letting me post a pic but the blue is the same blue used on the layout.

I read this post the other day but didn't reply mate as i figured one of the regulars would have for you but i guess there to busy or something...
Mate i own a copy with a blue spine. A later press with the compressed insert
Its identical to my other later press in every way except yep the seam is blue not green.
I to tried to post a picture for you but couldn't either
I would have no clue about the pressing info....
Hopefully someone will reply for you.

All I know is that this is one of those early releases that has been repressed over and over (the 'final press' is not a final press at all). Most likely some slight variations do exist in all the later pressings/sleeves.
But, obviously, this does not answer your question regarding the sleeve that came with your test press...

Interesting. I never noticed that. I just checked and all my copies have green spines. I haven't been record shopping in the past 2-3 months due to being busy busy with various shite but when I did hang out in 2nd hand shops before I remember seeing tons of these all over and usually I would just fish for the 1st pressings with booklet or the blue vinyl "final" ones but now that I know I will pay attention and next time check for the blue spines.

i don't think this sleeve belongs to the testpressing, the person(s) who owned it before you probably bought 1 of the later pressings and used the cover for the test press
and yes there are more pressings than what is written down same as a few other releases
