Nah no first press yet, I'm trying to find one with a poster. Nico, the black has been constantly repressed. The latest one was after the recent coloured ones. But like all the UC stuff there is no pressing info. I have one with poster AND sticker Email me to discuss this further

My two marble copies. I had one come in the shop that was somewhere between those two last year. I was tempted to keep it, but that struck me as a little too #hoarderstyle. Ugh, that gray copy posted above just mocks me...

Does anybody know the pressing info for the 2 x 7" UC demo on blue vinyl?? Can't seem to find anything about it really.

After YEARS of struggle, I finally made it happen! UC Screaming for Change and gray vinyl! This was one of those records that was always close, yet so far, and I finally end up knocking it out of the park with a very reasonable BIN of $250 that shows up in my saved searches notifications. So anticlimactic! But to the victor go the spoils, and now I can complete the picture:

Good work, Colin. I have a UC saved search set up as well, and check eBay daily... but last week I was so busy at work that I didn't check eBay at all. Shame, as I might have beaten you to that gray record... ha!

Awesome picture! Makes me want to collect these!
Limited purple=pink?
Must say that these records deserve a picture out of the plastic sleeves (or am I seeing things wrong?) And what's with the writing on the label of the gray copy? Radio station copy?

even if it's just what color each pressing is. like 1st press = yellow letter covers, purple vinyl. i don't really care how many of each color. besides knowing (sometimes) that a white one or a green one is a current repress, i'm always fuzzy on what color lettering/vinyl is what press

Correct me if I'm wrong:
1st press: yellow letters on cover 2nd press: green letters on cover. Probably all of purple, grey, pink, green and red.
Recent re-pressings: the run-out near the labels is quite a bit smaller, so new plates. Not sure about matrix numbers etc.
Check xreganx's picture for the run-out differences.

A spanner in the works: A pic my friend sent of the back cover. The pic kind of implies there were multiple pressings of the yellow lettering/1st version artwork cover, which would make sense given the popularity of the band at the time. And no talk of this trainwreck? www.discogs.com/Uniform-Choice-1982-Orange-Peel-Sessions/release/6543450It's pre-Pat Dubar, and basically sounds like a 2nd rate Wasted Youth...Which ks fine if that's your thing, but definitely don't pick it up if you're expecting the melodic SFC style. And that cover art...woof.

So that Peel Sessions is the same Uniform Choice. Nico and i talked about this today. I thought it was listed wrong. No members that played on other recordings right?

I don't think so, but it's still the "same band," in a sense. The UC wikipedia page is insane and goes into a lot of the lineup confusion iirc. Who knows when the world will be graced with an official release of the post-Dubar UC grunge demos.

Does anybody know the pressing info for the 2 x 7" UC demo on blue vinyl?? Can't seem to find anything about it really. i have it on blue vinyl. never saw it a second time. But regarding my copy, only one of the 2 7"s is blue vinyl, the other is black. I wrote Frank Harrison to get some information about that. he said something like he cant remember there was a blue vinyl version. He thinks the pressing plant might have done a fault doing a few on blue vinyl...

Off-topic, but the Nemesis release of the Pitbull LP (on white) is also a bit of a mystery, only a few (less than 10?) out there, so it seems. Haven't asked around yet, though.

I haven't been here forever. Didn't realize this board wasn't very active anymore. I'm bumping this old ass thread because I just bought a box of records that hasn't seen the light of day in almost 30 years.
In the box is a copy of Screaming For Change on a color I can't identify. (I wish I could upload photos) it's transparent, and when I pulled it out my first thought was this is pink ...super pink. Transparent pink. There does not see to be a transparent pink pressing, so now I'm wondering if this is the "red" ...does anyone else have a red that's actually very pinkish?

Sounds like a red copy. Post a pic on imgur or just post on IG and link it here or something.
