Thanks man. I've been looking for the extremely hard to find purple insert version for quite a while. Yeah, this one's a bitch to find. I once had like 3 copies of it but traded 2 away and haven't seen one for well over a year now. There must be at least 1000 of them but they seem to pop up less than the green vinyl. Maybe 500?? That would make more sense.

Guilty of buying the last one on ebay, late 2013. Might have overpaid a bit, since Poisonxgirls stated it was rare. That raised my max bid hahaha
I'm waiting for someone to publish a book "Using Ebay: a Psychoanalysis and Mechanisms of Behaviour"

That raised my max bid hahaha I'm waiting for someone to publish a book "Using Ebay: a Psychoanalysis and Mechanisms of Behaviour" There are a few records like this: seem not so rare, like the kind you can find anytime/anywhere but actually ARE rare. Judge purple insert is one of those. That goes for the NYC with purple and yellow inserts as well. Another not rare looking but actually hard to find records are Minor Threat Out of Step and Both 12"s with $8 price on the jacket. Nico could write an essay on those. I will just say that I found both Out of Step test presses faster than the $8 recent pressing lol. There must be more records like this.

Those are indeed hard to find, so uncommon even Jeff Nelson didn't know about these. Probably the didn't press too much copies and the fact it is only a small detail of the artwork, a lot of people don't notice it and overlook it and dont pick it up, thinking it is your run of the mill late 90's repress.

I dont know why i didnt have interest in collecting vinyl since I started in the hardcore scene about the time i was 15 years old, now I have 31; I guess I could be at a good level, I started to collect for a year and a half ago and compared to what I see here is nothing, really like to see all those stories of how you obtained your records and the passion with which you talk about it, that little details are the things that got me collecting. I hope to finish my deadformat (someday) that laziness wins me, hope this weekend, greetings to all and lots of good vibes.

I've been trying to get this New Age #1 Walk Proud - Be Yourself on 1st press green vinyl for a very long time. And when I finally get it, I win the auction on eBay for such a low price, I am embarrassed (out of respect for the band and New Age) to even tell you guys how much. Lets just say I got very lucky when paying out for this beauty. I am stoked. Very nice condition too! If anybody has any other versions of this record, please take some photos of them and post them. There seems to be some confusion about all the pressings of this record out there. Discogs really doesn't tell us shit about it.

Thank you lordx... Your pix above kick some serious ass as well... I can only match you on your NYCHC The Way It Is and your Shelter POD pix, lol... Your Sick of it All s/t 7" and your JUDGE BID 12" pix are crazy cool!!! Anyways...Would you happen to have any accurate New Age Records Pressing info on that Walk Proud NA#1, or just any New Age Records pressing information in general? I know I asked for NAR pressing info before on here, but I never saved the sources and everytime I search for NAR pressing info on the web, I can't seem to find it. Any lead or help would be greatly appreciated, AGAIN ...

Walk Proud 7" first press is black vinyl with different labels and 'cartoon' cover. The cover looks like this: Powerhouse 7" - the green vinyl was 1st press. There were also a small number on powder blue vinyl too, although Ferry thinks this was the second press. I think the Grey vinyl was second press because I have one and the dust sleeve is stamped with 'second pressing'. Whichever, there is a powder blue copy you need too.

Just when you think the hunt is over, you find out there is more...
