This is so awesome! Also those stickers!! You just missing the Foundation white labels and the LP test yeah??? What's Foundation white labels? I had a chance to own the LP test BEFORE I found any of the 7" tests but I passed lol It was around the time those colour represses were made (2001-2??) and at the time I though the 7"s were the thing to own and the LP was just whatever so the idea of spending $150 on the LP test press didn't appeal to me at all. I wish I could go back in time and knock some sense into myself with a hammer.

You still need that yeah? That LP test would have been sweet.

Also by now there might be several tests for the LP I think every time REV changes the plant (which is often) they whip up a new set of tests.

Hang on a second... did your TTD test come in a silver sleeve? It came without a sleeve but I managed to find a green one to go with it (straight from REV I must add) so now it's paired with the regular 1st press cover lol I just scanned it with the silver one to give bigger erection to whoever is looking at it. The other ones came with whatever cover(s) they're scanned with. Bigger erection achieved.

They went through a blip in the mid 00s for a couple of years where they used GZ but everything in recent years has been back at Rainbo. Check the matrix to see if there were new plates/tests. I'm not home so can't check bit I doubt it on this one.

Didn't notice this on instagram, but what's going on over on the left hand side there? Looks like the dudes from the cover of the record cut out on top of the grey vinyl. Is that some kind of customised / home made cover, or is this just some kind of optical illusion?

there was a cold and rainy fall day back almost 15 years ago where i was bored. i had a bunch of extra covers sitting around doing nothing, so i made cutout covers. i think i have a judge, yot, burn and the soia. theres photos of them floating around somewhere, but the burn and yot are on my IG. the burn is my favorite. simple and clean looking. edit: heres the burn:

Those cut out covers are very very cool. When I saw that YOT photo at first I thought it was a photoshop lol. Speaking of YOT, I received the clear/milky Disengage record I won here: www.ebay.com/itm/291199468634?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649The seller put a lot of stress on how awesome the clear split is and how he has never seen another one like it. Fair enough. What he didn't mention was that the milky bit was not the effect of pressing plant doing. It was a simple heat damage. The record is half fried and all fucked up on the milky bit. If you look closely on one of those ebay photos you can see the warp along the milky edge. I made a quick video of how it plays through lol: It's nearly impossible to NOT see the warping, especially while taking several ebay photos. I am 100% sure the seller is a cunt and didn't mention it on purpose hoping the potential buyer is retarded and won't notice. I am highly annoyed because of wasted time and a $100+ Any advice how to go about this? a) The Softie Approach aka "The Positive Youth" aka "I've got the PMA" Politely tell him he must have not noticed the heat warping when taking photos. I just checked his feedback though and he sold several heat fucked records in the past. Maybe he kept them on the radiator or something: feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=fate_just_missed&iid=291199468634&de=off&items=25&which=negative&interval=365&_trkparms=negative_365There's a good chance he will try to tell me it happened "during shipping" lol b) Negative Approach aka "You're getting on my nerves and there's no doubt about it" Call him out on his dodgy practices right from the start. Maybe not call him a cunt right away but imply he is one. This will probably get me nowhere in the conversation down the road. He seems to be a right fucking wanker in his replies to the negative comments. c) No Approach File the "Item damaged or not as described" without even emailing that toad. I am leaning towards the c) since from bits and pieces it seems like the dude isn't either friendly nor reasonable.

I am leaning towards the c) since from bits and pieces it seems like the dude isn't either friendly nor reasonable. Pretty funny Dobek. I am going through something very similar right now with that ebay seller who recently had those Warzone LESC on 2nd orange, Chain of Strength TTD on regular 3rd clear and the GB Start Today on 1st purple auctions up. Here ----> www.ebay.com/itm/Gorilla-Biscuits-Start-today-on-purple-shirt-nyhc-sxe-schism-warzone-revelation-/281388128921?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=OIUiZQPn8fUY4PTpE2LFLcJpQE0%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=ncHere ----> www.ebay.com/itm/281388125555?ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1435.l2649And Here ----> www.ebay.com/itm/281388124060?ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1435.l2649Dude sent me a warped fucking record with the cover, insert and dust sleeve all beat to fuckin hell, after I won the auction and paid a bunch of money for the record. And the kicker is: he described the record as "perfect condition" in the listing too. That "perfect condition" description bullshit stunt tells me that he was out to fuck someone over right from the very start. And the same goes for the dude who sold you that piece of shit heat damaged YOT record. That is some straight up fuckin slimy scumbag shit!!! Well, I don't know what to do about my situation yet either Dobek, so let me know what you decide to do. Your option c) looks to be the most appealing route to take for me right now. All I know is I am super pissed off. I waited a long time to get this record, and when I finally hunt it down, it shows up at my house in horrendous all-around condition. Un-fuckin-believable!!!

On another note... I just ordered a State of the Nation s/t 1st press brown wax record out of 208 pressed. I asked the seller on Discogs, who had zero feedback, if the record was definitely one of the brown wax/vinyl versions and he said it is kind of hard to tell and that it looks like it is brown vinyl. So, I just went ahead and ordered it, considering it was a low price and I don't even own any version of that record yet. Well, I have never seen one of these State of the Nation brown wax LPs and I couldn't find a picture of one online anywhere. So, if one of you guys could please post a pic of one up on here, or link me to a pic of one, I would really appreciate it... Thanks, Dom

I never trust sellers who grade old records as 'perfect condition'. That's pretty much impossible, unless they come from a label or serious collector. In general, most sellers overgrade the records they sell, maybe not even intentionally, but more so because they don't know what they are talking about.

Did you forgot to look in the most obvious place of all? www.revelationrecords.com/pressing/rev44I have one. It's unmistakably brown. If the seller isn't sure if he has one or not then he probably doesn't.

A nutless monkey could have graded this record as not perfect condition. again man... i am just super sizzling pissed off about this one!!!

Have you emailed the seller? What was his response? If he's all cool about it, he should return you your money and trust you to return the record to him. Otherwise, just file a PayPal complaint. Take some clear pictures that you can use to convince PayPal if necessary. You'll win the claim/dispute no doubt although it may take some time. Is it a record that you would be able to find again one day in a nicer condition? If you're really not happy about the situation and have spend enough money to feel ripped off, don't hesitate to use eBay's/PayPal's buyer protection. That's what it's for… Good luck!

If you're really not happy about the situation and have spend enough money to feel ripped off, don't hesitate to use eBay's/PayPal's buyer protection. That's what it's for… Good luck! Yeah, I messaged him about it and he said he just listed it without looking it over and he just assumed it was in perfect condition, lol. Yeah, right! And if you look at the pictures in the listing, he purposely slid the top of the insert (where the tape that was once on it ripped off part of the inserts lettering) under the record's cover so nobody could see the insert damage while looking at the listing. So, I already caught him in a lie. Yeah, I am just going to message him back and politely ask him if he will fully reimburse me and I can just send the record back to him. I'll just try to leave the reimbursed money in my paypal account and wait for another one in way better condition to pop up somewhere for sale or for auction online, hopefully sometime soon. It just sucks that I have to go through all of this crazy nonsense. It should have never been listed as anything near perfect condition in the first place. And I am in the states and he is in Hoboken, Belgium. That is what makes this an even larger pain in the ass. Oh well though? I gotta do what I gotta do. Thank you for the advice Michel. I appreciate it... All the best, Dom

I just opened a dispute without getting into email exchange. I tried to be as not-dick as possible but it was difficult due to being annoyed by that twat. Hello,
I received the record today and unfortunately the milky part of the vinyl that was your main selling point and a reason why I actually bought this turned out to be nothing more than a discolouration caused by some sort of heat damage which in turn warped the record rendering it unplayable as you can see in the short video I made here:
I looked in your feedback and it seems you sold a few other heat warped records defending your position that it must have happened during shipping. The discolouration in the clear vinyl was there before the record was posted out so it is clear (no pun intended) that the vinyl was warped at the time when you made the listing and failed to disclose this fact.
Since the damage is clearly visible and impossible to miss while taking several close up photos for ebay auction and you haven't disclosed it in the description I would like to receive the full refund of $130 I paid including the postage.
If you would like me to return the record I would like you to pay for the return postage as well.
Thank you.
