ok rev super nerds, help me out. what am i missing from my list here?
rev 3, soia. the 4th press of this record had a high quality boot of it.
rev 4 the gb 7". i have a boot of this record that i dont know a thing about. its just a straight up boot of the 7" with the matrix scratched off and a plan b/w cover. kind of strange.
rev 10 chain of strength. the 7" was booted, but with a strange orange cover. i dont own this but ive seen it.
i guess the chung king can be listed but that was a 12" to a 10".

There's also a red sleeve version (besides the orange and white) of the COS boot.

that 4 way boot is a series isnt it? as theres one with hard stance and turning point on it, and another with teen idols and the abused..from memory
also that chain 7" boot you guys are talking about, not sure if its the same or not, maybe someone can shed more light on it, but there was one ebay not long ago that was up for a while with a bin of about 40 or so..it had a black and whtie cover similar to the silver copy, but the 7" had blank white labels..cant find any more info tho

I dunno about a series? I did see a bunch but some are overlapping. So It doesn't look like a neat series.

Can someone please post good comparison photos of the SOIA boot vs. og. I remember having two 4th presses that looked slightly "different" I kept one of the two and to this day I don't know if I kept the og or the boot

Can someone please post good comparison photos of the SOIA boot vs. og. I remember having two 4th presses that looked slightly "different" I kept one of the two and to this day I don't know if I kept the og or the boot I am 99% sure I own one of the boots. When I got it, I thought it was a genuine 4th press. But recently I looked at it & decided it is a boot, because it doesn't have a 'REV' catalog number in the matrix anywhere. Aside from the matrix issue though, I would say that this is the highest quality boot I have ever seen. Here are some pics from when I acquired it: endlessquestrecords.blogspot.co.uk/2010/08/sick-of-it-all-7-trade.html

Thanks Marcus. Great then. Since the lack of REV matrix is a clear give away I got rid of the og 4th press and kept the boot. The best decision of my life. Anyone out there wants to sell me the 4th pressing?
At some point I decided to get rid of ALL the bootlegs I had. All except for JUDGE and YOT and maybe few select others. It's clever how this one sneaked through.

dobek i have the originsl and the bootleg for sale
the bootleg cover pictures on the front and backcover are of less quality, the original has "sharper" pictures and letters on the backcover are a bit thicker than the original
and ofcourse the matrix on the bootleg is:
SRC 531 A SRC 531 B
it has also no spaces between the songs, and the labels are not correctly centered

SRC? That is the same "label" who bootlegged two Dischord releases.

Great then. Since the lack of REV matrix is a clear give away I got rid of the og 4th press and kept the boot. The best decision of my life. Yeah... keeping a boot instead of an OG press is nearly as good a decision as trading for a boot. It is a good quality boot though, eh? Given that you and I have both been suckered. Can't believe I never even thought to look at the matrix though. Makes me feel a bit amateur.

I assumed the REV info wasn't correct (as is the case with many other releases) and they were 4th and 5th pressings. I was wrong and i should have checked the matrix and yes it does feel a bit on the amateur side Fortunately there are plenty of these around the shops here for cheap so sooner or later I will come across one. No rush.

It's zee German boot. I've seen plenty of them in the past. It looks horrible. The og 2nd press of TTD can be had for a reasonable $30+ maybe less. I don't know why anyome would spend money on that turd. I used to buy bootlegs before. I had a Heart Attack boot and Necros Sex boot etc but some years ago I decided to get rid of all it. I only kept Judge / YOT boots for whatever reason.

Only those two are clear cut boots. I throw the L&F No Apologies in a semi-boot drawer. It's not like the band worked with the label or really had anything to do with that release.
