My list of LP's is incomplete so every now and then I discover something's missing when I go to play it and it's not there, it happened about 3 years ago but the last record I noticed was missing was only about a month ago, so far this is what I know has gone. C.I.A. "Synerbob" 12" Chronic Disorder 1st LP Ramones "Leave Home" LP 1st press w/Carbona Not Glue Septic Death "Need so much attention" LP 1st press w/poster Sex Pistols "NMTB" LP Japanese 1st press Youth Of Today "CCME" LP 1st press on Caroline/Schism I think the person that took took them may have had a vague idea of what was rare/worth money, but it's a bit too random to be a case of "I like this so I'm gonna take it...", I think the Chronic Disorder may have been taken because they got mixed up with Chronic Sick, the girl in question is not a hardcore fan, her (now ex-) boyfriend is into AFI - NOFX - Cancer Bats etc... Anyway, nothing too expensive to replace just annoying, the Septic Death LP pissed me off the most. I'm just glad that my days of house sharing are over. I would totally flip out if I thought someone had stolen any of my records. The one thing I can say though is that the kind of person who likes AFI, NOFX & The Cancer Bats probably deserves a good kicking whether they stole the records or not. I have to say, if someone came around to my house and stole (say) 10 records, I'm not sure I would ever actually notice. Unless it was the CK, which I check every now and again just to make sure it hasn't mysteriously vanished (not that anyone who likes hardcore or records ever comes round to my house that is)

Someone, no idea who or when, nicked some stickers that were inside some records, OG YOT stickers that I kept in my 1st press EP, one of my CY stickers, I had one in each EP for the 1st and 2nd press and now I only have one... there may be some more missing but no way to tell. I was missing few records when I was sharing flats but again, too many people rolled through my house to actually pin it on anyone.

I was missing few records when I was sharing flats but again, too many people rolled through my house to actually pin it on anyone. That's the problem I have, I don't know for sure who it was, the girl once threatened to steal my records when we had an argument over utility bills and her boyfriend was standing there with her at the time, I kept my door locked every time I left my room after that, so I think it's most likely one or both of them, but I have no proof. The fact that she mentioned it makes me think it had already happened. The guy wasn't from Leeds so I've not seen him but I'm hoping he will be at Morrowfest in Nottingham in May so I can smash a mic stand over his head when we play, as Marcus said he probably deserves a good kicking anyway.

Many years ago when I was first collecting records (90/91?) I had a bunch of awesome and rare HC and SXE records. There was a SXE dude traveling through Memphis (where I lived) from New Zealand and I put him up in my house (Matt from Auckland - that's all I remember - short blonde hair. I think he was traveling with a friend, too). Anyway, he was very friendly and we worked out a deal for a big trade. So I let him take a bunch of my records with him (I can't even remember which ones it's been so long) and he was going to send me a bunch of rare stuff like Project X, etc. when he got back to New Zealand. To make a long story short, after he left, I never heard from him again. Then, to top it all off, my parents get a $1,000 phone bill from the night he was here because he called sex chat lines all night... If anyone knows an old SXE kid from Auckland named Matt, let me know...

orangerory > I heard you tell that story before but it just gets better every time. How did you explain the phone bill to your parents? haha

Yeah - I posted it on livewire before and reading through these stories reminded me of it again. Man - my parents flipped out on me. They thought it was me. I was like, "no way!" But it's probably about the time they busted me for watching one of my dad's pornos so they already thought I was some kind of a pervert (they didn't actually catch me watching it - just one day I came down to breakfast singing the theme song "ladies in lace"... not smart). Anyway - they called up the phone company and I think they were able to get the charges dropped. I'd love to catch up with that kid though. Someone else on Livewire said he ripped them off, too. I don't remember his last name though.

Yeah, I think I was reading about this on LWB > so they already thought I was some kind of a pervert Pervert?? There's nothing healthier than teenage boys interested in naked ladies. Your parents should have be worried if you haven't shown any indicators that you are naturally drawn to the fannies haha. That would have been weird

In a recent trade I was about to recieve a Youth of Today - Disengage 7" on clear. I've recieved the record today and it appears to be the final version on milky clear vinyl. Still don't know if I should be happy or dissapointed, my mind was set on a first press..

If you didn't have it already then be happy. It's around 3 times harder to find than the first pressing.

Finally picked a 1st press SOIA 7". In addition to the stamped number 0679, I noticed some other things. Obviously, someone wrote their name in blue ink, but there's a "Mr. T" stamp. It looks like it was stamped after the sleeve was glued, but I'm not sure. I never seen mention of Revelation using a Mr T stamp. Any one have ideas about the Mr T stamp? Attachments:
