So some time ago a dude on Instagram posted a pic with four Chung Kings (@raboldmarko) I messaged him asking what the numbers were (for the nerdy list I keep) he told me three of the numbers and said one was un-numbered. I was blown away, he said he thought it was pretty common knowledge that the first 12 were un-numbered and most sent to Europe. I asked him to send pics coz I had never seen one, but he never ended up replying so I didn't think much of it.
So today a new IG account @viciousstraightedge posted a pic of a blank numbered chung king and says that it's not edited. Thoughts? Anyone else ever heard of this variation?

I've heard something in the past, but I can't remember too much, if I'm correct Sammy had some unnumbered copies... not sure though. Interesting to know that probably 122 Chung king are floating around.

Just watched the pics from Mark rabold. The 5th copy is too white compared with the other, also the position of the writing is different...weird. As a printer I would say that it is a different print, difficult to find out on a picture. It makes me think about CK boots or something. Any guess?

apparently its a sleeveless ck that the owner has so he made a paper sleeve for it. Should be the one sent out without sleeve mentioned in rev txt...but now I want to know how many CK are around. And this also make me think about the fact that the CK list is still incomplete, and if 12+ are unnumbered...we've got a mess ! Rev should clarify about the unnumbered copies !

Interesting to know that probably 122 Chung king are floating around. I personally think that one/some CK record cover(s) did not have the stamped number(s) so it/they is/are part of the CK list, so if the list almost is completely filled in with names etc. the leftover number(s) is/are then for the unnumbered one(s) Marko Rabolt is a very nice/good guy and has also if I remember it correctly he owns a 5th. CK copy without cover(so no number is known for that one) jeff xXx

Hmm, as Geoff said we can just try to figure out the facts. I suppose that only one was sent without cover, but maybe was two or more. The info are :110 numbered and one sent without cover which number is unknown. Now came out a copy without number, someone talk about 12 unnumbered to add. The Rev "where are they?" is outdated, #24 Still not listed but is in Raboldt collection.. Just I'll keep my eyes open for more info!

122 is too many. Overrun is 10% from pressing plants, you wouldnt get 22 extra if you ordered 100.

I feel weird that while you stamp the numbers, than came for example the #27, you will say "fuck off 27, I hate you, I'll never stamp this fukka number!!" But, who knows... Well, that unnumbered pic brings confusion here!

Well i dont think they would just skip numbers. They were numbered using a sequential stamper. It doesnt just skip numbers unless you make it skip them. Its probably extra covers that were never stamped or had records in them (if they even exist that is). The gaps in the list doesnt mean those are blank numbered ones

The gaps in the list doesnt mean those are blank numbered ones Yes. Only in the past few years I added 3 numbers to the list that weren't previously there. At the 3rd one Jordan Cooper called me "the Chung King Finder" although technically that last one was pointed out to me by Regan so really I only found two. Still... I should wear a badge or a medal. There are at least couple more I know where owners are simply not arsed to go into trouble of sending a message to be added to the list.
