Just my opinion, but I want to encourage all the people who have framed their records : step back, keep the records in a dark place...when I saw that gb 102 framed just few weeks ago, I had an heart attack! Why do this ?

i have my chung king framed, it has been for over a decade now. its air tight and out of any direct light. every year i look at it to make sure its not discoloring anymore. (all chung king covers yellow with age) so far its worked out well.

Surely everyone can do what he wants with his records, also I know that serious collecors use to make a great job in the framing process. Is not a way of judgment, just I'll never try to spin a book or read a paint. I need to listen to the records, and grab the sleeve and insert. But I'm also referring to the WZ clear/"brown" or I remember the WZ orange/"brown" sold on ebay some years ago: " will ship framed as it is " I'm wandering if a record exposed to the sunlight so much time can play without issues.

Rather than "framing" the subject should read:
Stop exposing records to direct light sources (either sun or artificial)
If someone wants to frame things, more power to them. It's like dressing your 2 year old kid up in a funky hipster outfit, complete with a fake beard and all.
Completely harmless.
Then again if you took that same kid and nailed him for few months to a rock in the mojave dessert to soak up some of that UV goodness, that would have been likely classified as some kind of violation of whatever rights or liberties.
I've seen all sorts of frames/display cabinets for records. The only way I see this work would be if kept in a room with no windows and extremely dim lights.
I bought a few too many records in the past with spines completely buggered by the light to recognise this as a problem and I quickly took some simple steps towards preventing this from happening in the future.

Oh, I'm not referring at your copy in particular, I think some other browned copies are around. However, i feel better whit my records kept in the dark

That Warzone clear/brown, did you buy it framed? When it was framed was it discolored or did it happen after being taken out of the frame and direct light?
