I don't know anything about the producer, but I believe the director Jesper Petzke used to play in a hardcore band called: Play The Piano Drunk Like A Percussion Instrument Until The Fingers Begin To Bleed, which released a 7" on Adagio830. Adagio830 is the label of Robert from Zann which also released the Give full length LP in Europe.
So there are hardcore kids involved with a vague Revelation records connection.

Sometimes band names suck, but the music is great.

I like the idea of this documentary, but I can't help but feel that it would be more credible if it were actually made by someone else. Rather then have it endorsed by Rev, I'd prefer if it were made or commissioned by them.

Because that straight edge documentary turned out so well. Don't know what it that is. When was it made? It wasnt made. Rev sent all their master tapes/original/only copies of various shows and interviews, things like the master for the Judge video shoot, etc, to the girl who did Punk Uprisings and she proceeded to lose them all and drop off the face of the earth. I believe only a trailer for it exists.

So, who will participate in this project? Just read the Rev newsletter and they support the movie. I can't get how it could work, it's a travel around the world hunting for ck owners and just make an interview ? Maybe there will be interviews with band members telling stories? Confusing.

Hello everybody,
This is David from Imbissfilm - the production company that wants to make the documentary about "Chung King Can Suck It". It's nice to see that the word has already spread - we are indeed planning on making this happen. We are right at the beginning of researching every information we can get about copies, owners, stories and side information we can gather along the way. So, if you have anything that could be interesting for a film about the record, I would love to get in touch with you.
You can always reach me via david.mueller@imbissfilm.de
As we are right at the beginning of everything, I can not say for sure how the film is going to look like. What you can absolutely sure about is that we are 100% serious and want to reach out to every owner that we can find. Also, I can assure you that we will be very careful around every record we will see in the making of the film. As we all are music enthusiasts, we have a big respect and admiration for every record collector.
If you have any questions concerning the project, feel free to reach out. Also, if one of the chung kings is yours, I would love to read from you. Same if you know of any other copy jumping around somewhere...
Thanks a lot for all your help!
David
