I don't know if this has been discussed here before. The center hole of the tour press of my copy of Disconnecting is slightly bigger than the regular size, which makes the record basically unplayable since it doesn't rotate properly. I've never seen this before with any other record I've owned or held in my hands. Is it just my copy or is the entire pressing screwed up? Tour press on top of a 1st press copy for comparison:

Try a good slipmat, it might still play without a hitch.

This is common problem when you press a record without center labels. When the record is being pressed the labels help keep the hole from expanding. It can also cause the record to warp or dish

Theyre in there from the beginning, not drilled afterwards.

That video would probably get more hits if it were (more accurately) titled 'dark sorcery turns doughnut into record'.

Just came across this thread. We were pissed when we opened the box. Immediately contacted pirates press to try and get it fixed but they wouldn't do anything, even though they were supposed to have blank labels and it was their mistake.
We had them shipped to meet us on our European tour, so we were pretty much stuck with them. Brought over the covers, so we sold them anyway not realizing that there would be a major issue with playing them. I should have known, but it wasn't until I got home and tried to play one that I saw the issue. When I sold the remaining at our record release show, I tried to let everyone know, may have even said something when we played. Looking back I probably should have just tossed them.
