I'm getting the impression that less "top dollar" punk/hc records are being sold. I've been watching the CF site now and then, and fewer seem to pop up into the daily TOP 25. Post if you see something, feel free to discuss the record, the auction, the price, the rarity etc. Please post a CF link, and if you want, the ebay link as well. This thread will be undoubtedly be close-related to the "Rev on ebay" thread, but you can consider this the "sequel" to that thread haha... WWW.COLLECTORSFRENZY.COM

I haven't really used this site before.
How does it compare to popsike? Does it do more or better stuff?

I started to use when i was starting to sell collections and I don`t want to pay for popsike any money for just to look up record prices. This one is free and does list records between $15-20 price range not just above like popsike.I also found a lot of auctions posted on CF which wasn`t on PS or vice versa.

i think as a whole there just aren't as many top tier punk records that sell for as much as jazz ,psych, soul and beatles rarities . the ones that do are scarce enough that they don't sell that often.

i can't say for 100% certain but if i remember rollins was the winner on that one. the auction was for a dude who passed away and his friend had no idea what it even was. the most expensive punk record is the the sex pistols god save the queen. i think those hover over the 20k mark regularly

i think the dude figured it out when he started getting all kinds of crazy pm's asking to take the record down for exorbitant amounts of money. when he posted it on the auction that he got the offers but was gonna let it ride people just went all out. i think this was also the 1st one to sell on eBay

Four years prior another copy was sold. www.popsike.com/php/m-detaildata.php?itemnr=4056272834

Seeing that there are Chung Kings all over the world, especially plenty in Europe....yes, I'd say the end price would be higher with a Worldwide auction. But it is what it is.
Definitely will have influence on future prices of similiar Judge/Rev tests.
Sucks, orangeory....you ended second? That's brutal, especially due to the almost $1000 gap with the number 3 bidder. Damn.
