Was that a special design for TIHC 2013 or is that simply the maroon sweatshirt with "BANE" on the front? I'm going to see Bane in early May on their European tour. If you want, I can check if they still have these for sale and pick one up for you. I'm not sure if there was a specific TIHC now that you mention it. I recall they only had like 30 of them for sale though. I'm just looking to get the Maroon crew-neck sweatshirt with "BANE" on the front. I would really appreciate it. Thanks dude! Hm, I bought a maroon sweatshirt around 2013 (I think) when they were over here. But I remember seeing that sweatshirt on later tours as well, so I doubt there are only 30. Could be that they did have a special design for TIHC or that they only had 30 for the festival and printed more since then. In any case, if they still have these, I'll be happy to pick one up for you. If I remember correctly, they sell crew necks for 30€ over here. What size are you?

Question: anyone going to see Bane soon? I need some help with getting something. I've been trying real hard to get a maroon crew neck sweatshirt that says Bane for two years. This is the "TIHC" design from 2013. I was at the show but missed the sweatshirt and have been hating myself since. If anyone can maybe help that would be so rad. Thanks dudes. It All Comes Down To ThisI chronicle my record acquisitions. Some records are rare, most not so much. Sometimes I write about how I got the record, how I like it, or how I got to know about the band in the first place. Feel free to comment. Dude, I think I received my Chokehold - Tooth and Nail on orange on the EXACT SAME DAY AS YOU. EERIE. Thanks for checking out my blog. I don't want to rain on your parade, but I rarely post records the very same day I get them. But if that were the case, it would be eerie indeed, haha.

Checked it again. If you follow the link in my original post, you'll be directed to the blog. If you click the link in a quote, you end up in this thread again. Weird.

No, nobody bid on that Inside Out. Dont mix up asking prices with actual prices. You're right. I only checked for the Burn 7" and didn't take a close look a the Inside Out one. My bad.

Hi Guys. I need some advice on where to post my sale list. I've only posted the list here and on b9 so far. Are there any other boards or websites where I should post my list? Are there any good facebook pages to sell stuff to a wider audience? Thanks! Poisonfree --> German message board; English is spoken; posters must register (I think) Facebook

So stoked to finally have one of these. It's in pretty good shape too. The flaps have become unglued, but I think that's pretty cool with these records since you get to read the hidden message.

phhiiuu new bands? new album? no idea. i am soo out of step with whats new and whats hip. mostly i am after the oldies and the older i get, the older stuff i am after. now somehow the 77 to early 80 stuff is the most interesting stuff for me. 7". mostly only 7". back to the topic. the only record that i am absolutly shure about beeing released in 2014 is the not afraid lp. i love that record. the vocals are totally diffrent from true colors but i love them a lot. then the slapshot lp is also from 2014 and thats about it. oh how about the down to nothing lp? lions demo? the flex? violent reaction? dogchains? wisdom of chains? are they from 2014? no clue. but those would fit in my list of new or newer records that i really like. oh totally forgot about gwlt. awesome german rap/core/metal band. if you don't know them, check them out! Lions demo came out last year. So did the DTN LP. The Flex and Violent Reaction did have releases this years. The Dogchains 7" came out this year as well.

I think, since this is 80s to early 90s themed project, Rev/Dischord etc, eBay/PayPal/Internet and other cunty organisations should be kept the fuck away from this cool thing. Keep it simple. Keep it analogue. "You've just sent a letter to Jeff Nelson aking about the new Out of Step re-pressing. Wait a round for the reply." "The package from Al Barile with the SSD Get It Away 12" just arrived. Pay at the door. Give the postman $20" Something along those lines. I wouldn't try to throw the Internet into the mix. It will take the element of nostalgia out of the equation. I wasn't collecting records (or listening to this music for that matter) at the time, but wasn't the rev trade board kind of a game changer? As in people got really aware of what records were out there and which variants were particularly rare? Correct me if I'm wrong about this. So maybe this could be included in some way. "[inserrandomnamehere] just sold his record collection because he joined a Krishna temple. You hit the record store the very next day. SCORE! You win $xxx!" "You worked out a trade for [inserrandcomrecordhere]. Just as you're about to send out the record at your end of the deal you get a letter saying your trade partner got a better offer and he's breaking off the deal. Skip one turn."

That's a great idea! Rainbo Records of course, and.....Henk? Local Record Store is another option. That could make for ideas for chance cards? Rainbo and United/Nashville.

This is actually my first real attempt of contributing something to this nice board. I have been thinking about making a Hardcore Monopoly boardgame myself. Not sure whether it should be Revelation Records only (it would make it easier and perhaps even nicer), but there are so many other cool collectable records out there, I think it needs to have more than Rev only. I am a graphic designer and have the ability to make such a thing through my work because of large printers etc. Anyway, it needs to be narrowed down to releases of 8 different labels. And each label needs to have 2 or 3 pretty collectable records, but as we all know, the streets on Monopoly get more expensive, so the records in this case need to be as well :-) I was thinking in making the 4 "train-stations", the 4 Minor Threat 7" es, since it is a nice coloured group of 4. First I want to narrow down those 8 streets and need your help in making the list of records. Please help me out with the following; - brown street (2 records $60 range) - lightblue street (3 records $100 range) - pink street (3 records $140 range) - orange street (3 records $200 range) - red street (3 records $220 range) - yellow street ($260 range) - green street ($300 range) - blue street ($400 range, preferable called the "holy grail street")These prices are just an example, but it needs to add up in value just a little, you know Monopoly. As for the other spaces and chance cards, I need to think of other things, but first things first... Any help and advice is more than welcome! I want this to become a nice project!!! Thanx! That's a rad idea. Would definitely buy at least one.

To all the Euros on here: aren't there any mailorders in your country you can get the records from? There's a fair number of Dutch people on here if I'm not mistaken. Doesn't Reflections sell Rev releases too? I can highly recommend Per Koro and XSentientX from Germany. Both labels/mailorders usually get all the Rev releases and the represses. Plus, they sell the records at very fair prices. Marcus/Per Koro gets a lot of his records through Rev wholesale, too, so if there's a record, basically any record, you want him to order, that's usually not a problem.

I agree on High Hopes and Omission. New Direction, Godhead and Burning Fight are among the contenders too.

you got me wrong. represses are cool as long as the records are not available else where. and yes as long as its rev, i might probably buy them. also do i love that the abused lp, but i don't see any sense in, lets say, put the GB 12" and the 7" together on a double LP or a double 10", or doing another discography of a record/band that got represses every now and then. Ah, ok. I did get you wrong indeed then. Just reread my piece and I didn't mean to come across that harsh.

we should make a thread about what should not be released on vinyl. like all those represses and compilations that are already released once. i mean why do you need a re-re-re-release of something thats has been released before? even if its maybe not available for 18$ and you need to do a little searching and tracking it down? isn't it more fun to collect rarities over massproducts? Why is it so hard to understand that some people may actually want to buy records just to listen to them, preferably without having to pay an arm and a leg for it? And not everybody who buys records is interested in the collecting aspect. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I fully support keeping records in print. Who needs hardcore/punk bands and labels that actually don't do that? And I hope you're aware of the fact that you also contribute to the steady supply of represses by continually buying said represses, which shows a label like Rev that there's still demand for the records.
