was in ref. to "have heat" I see! Do you know how many of each of the GIA Euro tour presses they made for each show? You mean for the 2006 tour, with Allegiance (while the first tour in 2005 was with Blue Monday)? The copies with the show date written on the label ? I don't think anybody actually knows, all the ones I've seen have UK dates, so I assume they probably sold them all in the first leg of the tour. I know for sure that when they played Italy they didn't have any copies left.

never paid much attention to the numbers, but I have 2 cool (non Rev) numbered editions: CHAMPION/BETRAYED split 7" test press 1/13 (given to me by Kyle W) GO IT ALONE "the only blood between us" eurotour 2005 press 1/300 - bought this before the Rome show, they had just received their copies, and they were still numbering them....so I was the first to grab one. These 3 bands, along with Dead Stop, Have Heat and The First Step, are probably the best bands from the early 2000 era.... agree?

overrated price IMO. Are people really paying all that much for that 7" ? If FP stuff is really all that hot, I will consider selling my white copy.

hahaha @dobek I actually made a detailed list for my wife last year, with a description and a sale price, otherwise she would sell a Chain silver sleeve for 10$ . At the end, I made a rough calculation that I have records worth 20-25k euro, if not more, it would be a pity not to let my widow and kids cash in from the old fart of me passing

well, just think how boring it would be to own everything, and not to have anything on your want list... it would kill the pleasure of record hunting! Nothing compares the feeling of scratching something off your want list, something that you've been on the search for ages...!!

So who's got the UC demo 84 2X7" on Nemesis on BLUE VINYL ? I've got some cool stuff for trade. Please get in touch letting me know that you've got it. I've got test presses/rarities from UC, Mindset, TFS, Underdog, Rev,Champion and many many more up for trade. thanks That's a question a lot of us have. I know a bunch of people are looking for this. It's a pretty obscure version, nobody knows how many copies exist, and the background of them. hopefully the Nemesis book (which I haven't read yet) will shed some light on this. By the way, is anybody needs a test press of this, I can let my double copy go.

I still collect them. I have also noticed a lot of people selling them with a drop in value. I understand their reasons but I refuse to disrespect the other members of the band by turning my back on them and their great music. Let's not forget all of the positivity and how many kids were influenced by this great band. The negative actions by one member that occurred unbeknownst to the rest of the band shouldn't complete tarnish their legacy. BUT... I can definitely understand why some people feel the way that they do. It's a worthy discussion for sure. 100% agreed- Aram and Chris, only to mention 2 bandmembers, are 2 great individuals, it was ony one bandmember that did something very bad, and hard to condone. Champion wrote great music, and released a straight edge hardcore milestone like Promises Kept, the greatness of their music can't be denied. I have no problem in still listening them, by the same token one should feel not comfortable in listening to - say - Judge or Gorilla Biscuits, because they have songs abount straight edge and being drug free, and then have some bandmembers that live a different lifestyle nowadays. If we pretend 100% "purity" in the ethics of the bands that we listen to, that should be a general rule for everybody. Said this, I have no sympathy for what the singer did, I can't condone it. But CHAMPION still rule !

just a few random thoughts: 1) this situation is taking out the dark, negative side of us record collectors: after all, we are all a bit greedy, selfish, we want to be the only owner of certain rarities, we want everybody to look at us with envy, "wow, look what collection he's got, look what rare record he's scored"... we want to be the elite, we want to be one step ahead of everybody. To wuote Poison Idea, "record collectors are pretentious assholes". 2)said that, hardcore is also all about friendship, about helping each other, abount making unknown friends from all over the world.....so in a situation like this, if I were Marcus and scored 10 copies, I would give most of them to my closest "potential" friends, the people who shared my passion for collecting over the years, the people who I kinda "know" from ages. Soetimes leaning an helping hand is priceless. 3) I would give to friends most of them, but not all. Let's be honest, each of us, if could score more than 1 copy, wouldn't have limited himself. I'm sure many people on here have multiple copies... What I wouldn't have done is coming out the same day I receive them, in front of all the people who couldn't get one, showing my copies in your face, asking 250 euro straightaway, or a Project X from 1988. That's been an offensive move, that pissed off everybody. This board is made of people who usually have some "ethics".... 4) The big blame is to be put on Coretex.... I hope that if Rev is going to make more collaborations with them, will grant not to repeat a situation like this anymore. They knew that they would handle an instant Revelation collector item, still were "naive" to let 30 people get 100 copies of them.

I am an employee working in the business travel industry. Can't really complain about my job, so far it's stable, and I don't work on weekends and holidays. When I didn't have a family I could afford spending big money on records.
