Would anybody happen to have the power to change/edit Kevin Finn's "THE FINAL WORD" Revelation Records & other releases Version 6.06 pressing information page??? Iceburn / Engine Kid Rev:#34 first press (and only press) is not salmon colored vinyl. It is TAN and of course the black first press, which is already correct. Also, there are no pressing numbers for Sense Field - Killed For Less Rev:#32 first press purple, Sense Field - s/t Rev:#37 first press gold, CIV - Set Your Goals Rev:#41 first press blue 12", Sense Field - Building Rev:#46 first press salmon, Into Another - Seemless Rev:#48 first press clear, Iceburn Collective - Meditavolutions Rev:#49 first press yellow, etc., etc... There are no pressing numbers for any of those releases on there. Just totally blank by them. And I'm sure there are quite a few other things on there as well. I was just looking at Rev:#1 through #50... Just saying, it would be nice to see those things corrected on there. If nobody has the power, then I guess it's no big deal. www.revelationrecords.com/rev.txt

I think those were left without numbers because the exact number is unknown by Rev.
If you have any information regarding those releases, I'm sure they would be happy to make the changes in their next update:
"This document is currently being updated with new release info only. If you have information that you feel is pertinent, please email : webmaster@revhq.com "
I've always wondered about that CIV record, but I think I remember hearing that the invoice was lost (?)

Yeah, I hear you. Thanks man. Sense Field - Killed For Less first press purple has me puzzled too, because you can't seem to find one for under $100.00 anywhere. If no one knows how many of those were pressed, then why so expensive?

(myself included) very tough one to track down.

I only just now noticed that Rev barely released anything in the period of 2003-2005. Any stories about that phase of the label?
About exact pressing info...wouldn't a record plant keep data/info on all pressed records? (I guess they didn't)

(I guess they didn't) I dunno what the law is concerning archiving invoices is in the USA, but in the Netherlands, it is 7 years. I worked for a few smaller copies in their archive and usually in the slow month January, we would be busy cleaning up the archive and throwing out all the old invoices and administration.

So I would just assume they weren't pressing vinyl around then as it just wasn't as popular.

That makes sense. Although Rev would probably not have shelves and shelves of invoices in that era, but I could be wrong. Either way, it's fair to say that some info will never be known. Regan: vinyl dying out was indeed the reason, think you're right. You tend to forget this in 2014. Good thing!

looks like the .txt was updated and caught up on most, if not all of the 2014 pressings. minus a few missing numbers. some 2015's have already been added too.

Interesting that they removed the "722" from the SOIA - 2014 Press. I need to go through and update my personal lists now, ha.

------------- 153. Down To Nothing Life On The James : 12" 2013 ------------- Test press : 4 black vinyl 1st press : 550 green vinyl 550 opaque blue vinyl 2nd press : 550 green vinyl 3rd press : 542 green vinyl
Just noticed that the 1st, 2nd and 3rd press all had green vinyl. Anyone know how to tell the difference between the pressings?

Seems a whole bunch of stuff has been removed or changed.
Sick of it all - 2014 press on blue. Use to say /722 now blank.
Chain of Strength - TOTTSHT - 2013 green press use to say /540, now blank.
Also Inside Out now has 2 clear press for 2013. One /510 and one /550. However no mention of clear green. I'm not sure what is correct for this one.

Those two Inside Out presses on clear have always been there. Has there ever been an update with the clear green, or is one of these meant to be the green press?

Nope they never added the green vinyl, but they did update it with an additional clear batch after it wasn't availible anymore. Clear became availible again and a few months later the green viynl dropped.
