Anybody know who put out this record? Who's behind WISHINGWELL Records today?

i don't get why they'd do a repress on Green vinyl in the first place.

I am pretty sure it will sell a lot better, than another run on black vinyl. I personally would have chosen another color instead of one that is already used before for this record.
Also I feel the buyer/bidders are partly to blame. Investigate what you are bidding on. Surely the price should be a give away something is wrong with this auction.

i disagree. this is an intentional omission on the sellers side.

Why? Did he/she lie? Claimed it was an 1986 original?
Of course I know the listing it self is sketchy at best.
But as a bidder/buyer, you have the responsibility to ask the seller question or look on the eBay, see other websites to find out what your are buying.

it's not like he just listed the item with only a photo. he grades the item but forgot to mention it is brand new and only opened for the photo. it's not like he bought a copy and didn't like the record. this seller knew what he was doing.
i wouldn't go with this one, but a couple of weeks ago i was about to buy one and thinking i was about to make a bargain. then i did some extra research.
i get your point, i just think it's not justified to list an item with only a part of the information to mislead less informed buyers on purpose.

I have sold several records and shirts in the last couple of months that I knew were still available online in places but that went for crazy money. It's insane. Older, rare, out of print stuff went for peanuts yet shirts I could still pick up at rev hq went for 3-4 times the online price. This is a bit different because the seller may have omitted info about the pressing in an attempt to deceive, but sometimes people get caught up in an auction and hate to lose. At the end of the day, I think it's on the buyer.

When these first came out I hadnt seen they they had been repressed(my rev newsletter was late). Some guy had 5 copies on ebay at $25 each. He didnt mention at all it was a new repress and most people had no idea it was repressed. I bought 2 and then alerted some people to what I thought was a great find. It was discussed on a few message boards and someone went to the Rev store and found out about the repress. Needless to say I cancelled the transaction,
Yes its up to the buyer to an extent, but with something like this, or when it was brand new and no one knew it was repressed was sellers doing shady shit.

I fully agree with the view that sellers should always give as much information as possible about what they are selling, especially in cases like these when misinterpretation is easily made.

What I've done before, after getting stung by buying a SOIA demo that turned out to be a bootleg, I went through the sellers feedback history and contacted everyone else who had bought a SOIA demo and let them know the seller sold them a boot. I know some of them raised eBay cases, others it was too late for that, but still happy I let them know.
