Hey guys, it hurts to write this, but I have to pay so fucking much bills that I have to do this. I'm willing (not really) to sell the following records.
Pictures on demand.
Please contact me via PM or xmichelx1974(at)t-online.de If I'm not responding the offer wasn't right or the record is sold already...
Thx in advance!
Youth Of Today - Disengage on clear with coloured insert (VG+)
Chain Of Strength - True Till Death on green (mint-)
Sick Of It All - RSD press on clear with glossy cover and old insert (out of 29) (mint-)
Bold 7" on orange (cover VG - record VG+)
Statue 12" on creamy white (cover VG - record VG+)
Maybe some more next days...
(I got tears in my eyes ;-))

How much are you getting for it? Just out of curiousity because there isn't any points of comparison. It's a bit rare...

I asked Michel and he said he wanted twice as much as i paid for the same one with Gilman sleeve but than Euro's instead of dollars ;-) I'm not the one to name the price but i didn't see that coming. Maybe i should swap some 5th or 6th press sleeve and an old insert from my collection with my other/293...haha.

You just flushed my plan down the drain haha. No just kidding, of course i'm not into switching stuff. I hope you sell all for a good price. It sucks that you have to anyway!

Wow Michael! Very UNCOOL how you handled that SOIA deal.
We had sort of an agreement two days ago by email. I was the highest bidder from the start. I gave you the time to get offers from others to see if you could get more for it. I asked you to keep me posted so that I could raise my offer if necessary and then suddenly I read on the board that you have sold it?
Not cool...

Its also kinda uncool to make stuff like this public!

It's amazing how far we've come lol Back in the late 80s whether it was REV, Wishingwell or New Age after placing your order you would consider it regular to wait anywhere from 6 months up to 2 years for your order to arrive. If it arrived at all. I am sure many a time it happened that some already forgot they were ever straight edge or into HC when they finally got that Break Down The Walls album in their post box. Today you can't even excuse yourself with the time difference. No matter what time of day or night you get the payment you must acknowledge your buyers immediately. It's probably best not to sleep 48 hrs after the deal was concluded just in case. God forbid any post office fuck ups as well. Back in the good old days it was fairly common to send money and receive... nothing. While today if your package takes longer than a week you get hit with the paypal claim and more likely than not you lose your merch and the money, not to mention that you also paid for the postage out of your own pocket just to send the impatient buyer a nice present in a shape of a rare record or a t-shirt lol.
In a nutshell, I guess what I'm trying to say, xmichelx, is that you sold the record on a public forum so I guess it is reasonable (irony meter off the scale) for all parties involved (considering how the trading mentality has changed in the recent years) to slag you off publicly for accepting the best offer and/or not responding to the messages withing 15 minutes of receiving them. As I stated earlier sleeping/time difference are not valid excuses.
All I can say is: good luck and god bless.
lol

Now, let's get to the bottom of this: How much did you get for the SOIA /29 and would Michel pay you more? If he had the chance that is Everybody wants to know

This is exactly what I ment... And because of the SOIA: I wont tell the price. Maybe the buyer will do... I am happy with it. Case closed. I'm not the most proffessional trader-maybe it was a decision from the heart, in a unlucky personal situation...

And since I'm not the one who made this public if you feel extra details are necessary to make your earlier post clearer feel free to fill everyone in Still lol
