I think that is the way Revelation works, they have been doing this for as long as I can remember. Sucks but that is how it is.

i did not know that shipping was that much from rev. i do know when i have shipped record to europe that it always cost over $15. I use to send new release records over all the time for people, now i dont because its not worth it. it just too much money.
so how do you get new released stuff over there?
with all that being said, its a pretty good sale, it could be worth it to fill in the cracks in your collection.

I think it depends on how much you order... For just one record shipping is pretty much, but in case of this special offer it is ok!

This thread made me want to FINALLY check out the Past Present comp. I am very reluctant checking out the cover comps since just about any I listen to makes want to stick my head into a bucket of water and freeze it. Latest one being the Bad Brains comp that nearly made me puke blood. Thank god Nico took it off my hands haha
So I thought I'd order a copy of the record for the $8 but being a careful cat that I am nowadays I looked through mediafire to check out this evil first. I amanged to get through to track #4 WITHOUT skipping (even though that Bold Supertouch version made me want to jump off a tall building) once the Terror kicked in I started skipping, so I skipped through, the Ignite version of Disengage managed to hold my attention for nearly entire track. I am not saying I liked it but it was different enough for me to be curious of where it went because with DTN it went nowhere (see what I did there? Clever.) And so I skipped and skipped and then deleted the whole fucking thing so that my future children that aren't born yet won't accidentally play it.
I dare to say that cover comps should be banned all across the world. Seriously.
although (call me crazy) I genuinely liked the Dijan's crappy little indie band take on Malfunction (minus the computer generated mal-mal-mal-mal rubbish) Sans that small bit it was a really good cover song imo. Harley dramatically hated it I saw somewhere on the net.

dobek, this made me laugh.
this LP is/was rubbish, although kinda worth it for the artwork alone in my opinion, which was a nice homage to the label.
the only good songs on the thing were the ones that sounded pretty close to the originals. sick of it all's song was alright, triple threat cover NFAA was alright, On doing chain was alright, capital doing burn was alright, dtn doing yot was alright... but really it was a waste of time cos you might as well just listen to the originals. a little bit of fun though intended as a one listen record i would say.
and not bad for $8. or rather, $45 including shipping.
