dont want to sound mean, but these type of questions never do well because they are personal and not exactly proper to discuss. and if someone does answer it, it almost always the person who wants to brag that they spent $40 on a together comp on gold and would never pay more than that.

This is like being at a party where no one knows you, stepping up to a group of 4-6 people and starting off with "So, how much do you guys make a year?" or " how much did you spend on your car?".
There's also no context in the opening post. Why this question? Why do you want to know. How much did you spend yourself?
Blackwax, if you've been reading this messageboard, you must be aware of the fact that there are people on here that have paid more than $10 for a record.

Ok I'll take the bait here....here's a few that come to mind:
Non rev 7" - $200 for Fix jans room 7" with spray paint insert back in 2010
Rev 7" - together comp on yellow wax $100 in 2005
Most I'll pay for a record....
Either Geoff or Tim hit me up to buy your soia rev 7" test press so I can become even poorer
