Ripped off badly for the 1st time :-( Advice??

Hey Guys

Just wondering if anyone has ever dealt with or knows Jeremy Nelson?

Or can offer me some advice? :-(

So far its been

1)Been busy
2)Have had the kids here
3)Got delayed posting
4)Work troubles
5)Was on vacation
6)Now having trouble finding the records

So he has now admitted he can't find them...
And he assures me i will get refunded.
Problem is i was assured he would post them.

And now of course i have been told this

5) Waiting on some money to clear.

I have bought a lot of records over the last few years and a few from him to and i've never had a problem with anyone Well none that haven't been sorted out. I'm so extremely frustrated and just feel helpless sitting here getting ripped off.

Just hoping someone here knows Jeremy and can help push him to right his wrong and help me out Or can pass on some advice :-(

As with most people we really could use the money at the moment :-(

I won a few items from the seller four weeks ago. They were sent in two seperate packages. One arrived last week and the other one has not showed up yet. If the second package arrives this week I'm fine, but things could and should have gone faster.

If I would be in your situation (and relying on your information it seems like he indeed did not post your item(s)), I would give him some time to work things out but don't let the time to open a PayPal dispute expire and file a dispute if you feel that's necessary. Don't close the dispute/claim until you either have your item(s) or your money refunded. Not a pleasant way to solve an issue, but some sellers just make a mess themselves.

Yep i'm afraid i gave him time.

Thats my error.

I trusted him and his words.

I made the payment in June.

I'm past my time to make a claim but i am in contact with pay pal about it now since he has admitted he has not sent them and does not have them.

I guess hear what i'm saying mate and if you don't see your records soon quickly open a dispute like you say. They do work.

I unfortunately trusted him as i have bought from him in the past.

But never ever again

I see. You acted in good faith and now it's out of your hands. Just keep asking him to please solve this in a pleasant way and in the meantime keep in touch with PayPal about the situation. Maybe someone else here can give you better advise. Good luck!

i know him personally and i believe him to be trustworthy (at least as far as record dealing goes), however i've learned not to vouch for people anymore.
i do know that he's been having a lot of family issues going on for a while, and he is a cop in one of the shittiest towns in Utah so he's pretty busy. not making excuses for him though...
i would just keep hiting him up and being civil about it yet a bit pushy to either get YOUR records you paid for or your money back. i'm sure he'll make good on it.

This has been happening since June

While i have stayed civil mate i tell you its getting hard to give him the benefit of the doubt and believe him and i'm just about over being civil but that will get me no where... Ahh this is crazy stressful...

Mate if you speak to him can you please tell him to get with it and sort this out.

If he is a mate of yours then you really really need to talk to him because if this is what he finds expectable than man he needs bringing back down to earth i don't care if he is a cop.

I have bought from him in the past and helped him out at my expense and now he is pulling this crap? WTF?

just to be clear, i know him but we don't hang out or even talk much other than just IF we happen to run into each other. and it is ALWAYS about records . he lives in Ogden, which is about 45 minutes from SLC. you have a better chance of hearing from him than i do. i used to work at a shop one day a week in Ogden and that's how we started talking about records etc. that was about 6 years ago.
that being said, i don't think i could convince him to send you the records or the money any more than anybody else.

Hey Guys

I just want this to be clear to everyone

I just received part payment from Jeremy

It seems he has hit hard times which is heavy and i wouldn't wish that on anyone.

And that he is coming good to his word and is making this right and i want that to be clear here.

Like i have said a couple of times before i have bought from Jeremy before and he seems like a really nice guy. I just hope we are on our way to sorting this completely and hopefully i can post another quick message soon and say Jeremy has kept his word fully and everything was back to square.

I started this thread and was pretty blunt toward Jeremy.

So i think it is only fair that i make the point of saying we have sorted this out.

I just want it to be noted that Jeremy has just paid me the last large remainder that he owed me and we are now square.

Everything he ever said was the truth and he did indeed hit tough times and really hated the way everything went. I'm grateful to him for sorting it out.

To Troy. If you see this mate can you please write to me. We sort of stopped writing mid conversation mate? I hope all is good and you have just been busy. I wanted to please talk about buying them few from you that i made offers on. Thanks Mate
