Any reason you have excluded a bunch of (european) countries?

Hey Mate
Where are you wanting it post to?
I just list this lot off a saved template in ebay. It’s how I have always listed them.
Looks like I can still edit that part of the listing so get in touch all good

Hardly a weird template.
There are a lot of countries I don't want to post to.
Never been a problem before.
Only a problem now because you guys have seen them listed here and Ebay isn't working out postage because of my default listing on ebay Australia. Or are getting offended for some stupid reason?
If I didn't list here you'd be none the wiser like previous auctions. How often are you looking on ebay Australia for records lol?
Last time this happened with the Bold 7's that I put here Simone asked if I'd consider posting to Italy which I didn't want to as I have been burnt by there postage before but I did consider and I did post. Was sorted in one email.
Old Mate above wrote. He never replied. Handy..
I made sure there was no Europe exclusions (which not thrilled about) so he would definitely be sweet to bid
Not hard to write to me here and say hey Mate can you please...
The craziest part is I had them listed best offer and was keen to sort a deal fast for not very much money but no one wrote as everyone wants to try get them for nothing in the auction and because the price is low Euro guys getting frustrated no postage so cant bid. I get it. But if you guys had of just wrote I could have sorted it. O wait. I did...
Anyways.. hopefully everyone that wants to bid gets there chance and they go to a good home

question for everyone since the topic of shipping is brought up:
why do people "i won't ship to X country"? if the buyer pays the cost of shipping, what would the issue be?
genuinely curious! thanks!

I’ve asked many sellers before, being in Australia it can be frustrating when sellers say US shipping only. The responses I have gotten is that it easy for shipping/courier companies to lose/damage a parcel or a buyer just say they never got it. Raise a paypal claim and get their money back, while the seller misses out. How often that happens I don’t know. But maybe it’s a case of once bitten twice shy.

if the buyer pays the shipping cost, and you get tracking....then it's out of the seller's hands. it'd be annoying for the buyer but as the one who has shipped and done what they're suppose to do...oh well

A bit like: I live all year round in Australia, expect in the months: January, February, March, April, June, July, August, September, October and November. I agree that there a few countries with failed/or accident ridden post offices such as Italy, those countries I choose only to send registered too regardless of the vale of the item. Besides hardcore records, I collect ACDC & The Smiths, so I am a frequent buyer on Ebay.com.au. Prices and shipping is comparable with ordering from the USA, sometimes even cheaper.

I was just curious because I've heard of the italian post office being sketchy but didn't get why, for example, Denmark and the UK was banned. I'm sure there are many bwits who love Judge so why not accept as many bidders as possible.

nico - Sweet I didn't think you were but just wanted to make sure! Europe is crazy cool. The countries I had included I had post to a heap of times. The others I don't expect a sale from and or nervous about but again welcome them to write and I'll consider for sure as most would. Also I stand corrected for surfing Ebay Australia. More respect to you sir. Thumbs up! deluxxx777 - I was so stoked it made it to you so fast! So glad i went to a good home! pillowscars - I guess the thing is it will be exposed to a lot of people already and thats without the risk of a random person winning and then seeing their post to address is showing a country where you have know idea if the postage workers have questionable morals or not. That said is it the postal workers? It only takes a person to say 'it never arrived' or 'It wasn't me who signed'. And yep you can get that in any place I guess an unfortunately pay pal used to support buyers more than sellers with ebay/pay pal disputes especially with cheap records sent with cheaper standard post and so no tracking and then so no proof of sending. I like how Auspost includes tracking on standard post nowadays an Im sure other countries do which helps cover pay pal/ebay seller requirements to send with tracking for seller protection... may help I dont know.... As for specifics for Italy I have no idea Mate. Above deal was so easy i wouldn't hesitate to post to Simone again. I'd probably be a little nervous if a random on ebay. But again last Italy deal was perfect brett - Thats the catch Mate. Postage with tracking international can cost more than the record and not always an option. And like discussed without tracking you are really at the hands of the person you are dealing with. Hence ebay feedback etc.. trying to avoid said people. But unknown buyers and worldwide postage on an untracked cheap item you really just hope and wait for positive feedback / confirmation Regan I think thats the case. Get burnt once then think I won't bother especially if they are content to just get local bidding which is still a huge audience usually. And if the item is expensive then more so and definitely the case if they feel they can get their price locally then why risk.

Funny that people consider Italy a place not safe for sending/receiving packages. I have 71 posi feedbacks as a seller on Discogs, and about 20 as a buyer, 100% on both.... 91 worldwide deals without any problem, plus hundred of private deals, still people is worried about Italy.... WTF?

The issue is/was that paypal would always side with the buyer when it came to a dispute. Sellers would produce tracking and proof of shipping and still paypal decided in favor of the buyer. Fucked up. Not sure if things have changed or collecting/selling second hand records over forums/ebay and online tradelists has scaled back, but I haven't read about major rip-offs for some years now. It used to be bad when I got into the collecting hysteria. People were reluctant to ship to certain places, as far as my experiences went, there were sketchy people everywhere, not just in one or two places in particular.
