That's crazy but there it is in the stats www.discogs.com/Gorilla-Biscuits-Gorilla-Biscuits/release/10475643March 6, 2018 sold for $6065.75. Unreal. Fun fact- The picture used in the listing is actually the one I have. The gentlemen I purchased it from must've shared that picture with Discogs. He showed me the exact same picture when I inquired.

Oh Shit...sick world Considering it's a Yot hand numbered /60 silkscreen cover on rev and the price of the latest sales is between $500/600...plus people pay over $1000 for a floorpunch on gold, then i think it's a fair price. Completely different is $6000 for a GB creamy...

I will dare say no one paid $6000 for that record. No way.

Fair would be to sell the records for what you bought them (maybe allow a little for inflation), but not ask ridiculous prices. I really hope that this plays out like in the financial world eventually and this bubble will burst sooner or later. Call me a dreamer.

Completely different is $6000 for a GB creamy... You obviously own one. Its a Silkscreen cover from the 2000's that wasn't made by the band, was mad by someone who was at rev long enough to drink a cup of coffee and print a few covers. EDIT: Pardon my above ignorance, I just looked at the discogs page. Shocked its been going for so high. It says one even sold for $850, i saw a WW Red vinyl copy for sale on discogs a couple weeks ago for $850. IMO the two should not be close.

Of course I hate to pay stupid prices for records. I clearly remember the time I passed on a soia Gilman for 50$ because it was too much. When I say fair I'm referring to the actual shitty situation. That's why I can't complete my collection. I can't compete for a GB 102 or WZ clear. I don't have the power to change this madness.

Seriously though who would pay this much? I know about paying daft prices (I bought the CK on discogs a few years back) but I really can't see how this could be worth the same.

Ok, realised that people just want to throw money away, it's our fault do not understand that! Hahaha Nice reading though. In fact I've really overpaid more than one record.no doubt about it. But when I've got the WZ lesc orange back in 2012 for $300 I've thought I was just crazy, now I see it goes for $800/900... We all don't know what we are doing, it's true!

Kinda funny to see GB listed up there on a bbc article in a list with The Beatles, Prince, Pet Shop Boys & Pink Floyd. Despite what discogs says, I seriously cannot believe anyone paid $6k for this thing.

I just needed a place to vent. Haha, same here! Now I'll dig a little bit more. the real problem is : if you buy one record for $10 for example, then you manage to sell it for $1000, it's a huge gain. The person who bought the record for $1000 will never sell it for less than $1000. When someone else realize that he got a record previously sold for $1000, he will ask for that price, if not so greedy he will reduce the price to $800... To me seems like a pyramid scheme or something.. Not sure if I've explained that clearly enough, just I'm sure it's something more complicated than a simple "supply / demand.

That would make a nice line in the cut-out grooves/matrix.
