Whats the deal with this site? I'm thinking about listing a few things.

I only have experiences with Discogs.com as a buyer. I only use it occasionally though. If I do, I always ask for extra information and pictures, as the information given by sellers is usually minimal. But, you're probably more interested in experiences from sellers.

100% better than ebay since price can go down and its you vs seller. Great for all non rev and high $$$ record needs as a buyer and free to list as a seller as high as you like for as long as you like. I'm 4 for 4 as a buyer and not ready to sell yet.

i like it. i sold a couple of records there and i also bought some.
its way better than ebay. you can handle good prices out if you don't mind writing lots of mails.

it was great when it first popped up before alot of collectors caught on, i picked up inside out 7" on blue for very cheap and a first press gb 7" very cheap..now more people are using prices are getting higher and some are just ridiculous...that being said, i think alot of record collectors/shops from europe and england use this the most and if they are not from a punk/hardcore collecting background they put up some good records at very reasonable prices..you just have to keep going back and searching to find a gem..i haven't had any issues with any seller so far, i just always make sure i send them my paypal details with exact info for what i have bought and tell them if they are not sending it registered/tracked, to keep a receipt from the post office, that way they are covered if it doesnt show up...otherwise i have no hesitation opening a paypal claim...

I love it. My shop uses it, and we've sold thousands of things through it (user ID: Redscroll)
The "Wantlist" feature is great, because anyone with an item in their wantlist will get an email saying if someone listed that record. It can be very useful if you're listing something for a reasonable price and looking for fast cash.

That seller has 92% positive. Still a bit high if you ask me.

One thing annoyed the fuck out of me when it comes to discogs.
I asked the seller a question about a Skewbald/Grand Union 7", I was wondering what pressing it was.
Seller replies that it is an older pressing, he thanked me for asking and he told me that he had to change the price from 5 to 12 bucks.
It looked like a cheap trick to make some extra bucks, needless to say I didn't buy it
