After seeing that listing I was wondering what the deal was too. I have had this in my collection since 1990. The kid I got it from even mentioned how it looked like they printed OVER another war zone logo. I have to say it does look that way. Honestly, I thought all the 3rd press sleeves were like this. I never bothered to check others. If it was a printing defect wouldn't the white outline be effected also? www.4sharpcornersimages.com/images/products/misc/war 1.jpg[/img] www.4sharpcornersimages.com/images/products/misc/war 2.jpg[/img]

It looks like there was something on the printing plate that stopped the ink from transferring from the plate to the paper, could have been dried on ink or some cleaning fluid or something like that. It's the plate for the black that has the problem, the white is the paper color, it's just left as blank space when you print.
