mike fairley - 27 / toronto, canada
ive been buying records since i was about 18-19, and didnt start to really start collecting since i got out of school. im very interested in demos, flyers, videos, and zines as these are the items that often get lost over time, or are available in smaller numbers than records that have multiple presses. i prefer to consider the things that i have as part of an archive.
a few highlights
+ rev shoes + positive peer pressure and various personal letters addressed to band members at the CT location of REV HQ + mike judge old smoke on clear, promo poster, cd (i would love footage if it exists) + supertouch, start today, speak out, looking back, chain LP posters + various ads/promo/flyers of related bands + rev 01 // as one demo tape + rev atari logo longsleeve design + TTD on green + bold running on orange + ray n porcell on purple + judge BID on green + SOIA demo
some things i dont have and it hurts to admit
- together comp any press - side by side first press - bold looking back on purple - rev gi joe shirt
rev bucketlist - start today on purple - gb s/t on yellow or green - into another baseball cap
2012 record store day wish list
- together comp - supertouch gatefold (as per the projected release seen on dcxx)

Ferry Krop - 39 from Roermond/The Netherlands I have been a fan of Revelation and New Age for more than 20 years. The last few years were more fanatical for me. it keeps me busy and happy check my HYE of www.lucabrasidesign.com for my collection, my want and my New Age pressing info-list thingy which is in the making for some years now. I will post a topic more about that, if I am allowed on this REV board... proud owner of CK #81 love trading and buying. but since my own shop since june this year, my time is limited to search the net for good deals.

Carlos - 24 from Lima - PERU..
Im not a big rev-collector.. I mean I dont own a Chung King, GB out of 102, warzone lion attack horse hahaaa.. but Revelation was a great influence to me, and since I buy/collect records Im trying to have all releases from my interest; no matter if are from rev 1 - 23 or from the 90s or even current bands.

I'm Marcus. I live in the UK. I have been collecting Rev vinyl since around '92-'93, although my collection of Rev 1-10 is pretty poor compared to most on this board, as I used to be happy with one copy of each release. However, unlike unlike most on this board, my collection does extend beyond Rev 23. I also own all the Crisis releases too. However, I would never stoop so low as to own the Shai Hulud picture discs.
I write a dumb blog which is an online journal of records I acquire. Oh, and I also write for Vinyl Noize too.
My biggest wants would be test pressings of Sense Field, Into Another & Farside... just in case anyone on here has any & fancies letting them go.

Hi, I'm Sean. I'm 21 and work at a record store in CT, Redscroll Records. I'm a big Revelation fan, and have some really cool pieces that I will eventually post pics of. I'm always looking for more!

Adam Tanner old Rev/Mullet/Livewire board poster.. been around forever.. starting going to shows in the late 80's in CT/NY have a pretty good collection but have definitely pined it down to just records/zines/flyers as the posters and shirts were all ebayed years ago.
i still kick myself for not buying all these REV tests that Malcolm from Trash American Style was selling about 15 years ago that Craig Mack prolly bought. I just couldn't rationalize spending 50$ on GB/NFAA/SBS tests that now command quite more than that.
still hunting down some of the elusive early stuff (chain on clear, warzone on clear, Together on yellow/orange)...
ebay is such a double edged sword these days as you can get some really rare stuff but most of the time it goes for DUMB money (like the SBS lp on blue that recently sold). I found I get the best stuff from people selling off their collections as I got a good chunk of stuff from Sammy a few years back.

I'm Jeff. My first ever mail order was the Warzone, GB, SBS, NFAA and Chain 7”s from Revelation. Pretty much been hooked since then.
I have a decent collection but none of the super expensive stuff (Chung King, Chain on clear, anything like that). I don’t think at this point in my life I’d ever pay what it would take to get any of those pieces.
I’m taking pictures of some of my records, will post them when I’m finished.

Be sure to check out Reflex From Pain. (Also made love for Violent Children, but Ray played drums here.)

Nope, you are thinking about Young Republicans, those are Project X and YOT songs with different lyrics. Their 7" is amazing. Porcell wasn't a part of Reflex From Pain.

Im currently trying to piece back together my collection after trading/selling most of it to move overseas for a few years. I traded a GB stamped years ago because I wanted a yellow copy. I have many regrets.
Rev started me out on hardcore, so it always comes back to them.

DJ Millet, from Louisiana, 22
Ive only been going after Rev pieces seriously for about 6 months, and collecting all together for 3 yrs. Rev (GB to be exact) is also responsible for me getting into hardcore even though it was only 7 years ago.

My current wants are mainly the early Dischord stuff.
Favorite Rev release? Texas Is The Reason LP. The album that got my wife into any type of sub genre of music. If anybody has a copy on red, let me know!

Ian Leck, from England, I'm 43 I mostly collect 1980's USHC, I'm not a completist like many collectors on here and I have virtually no interest in test pressings or anomlies, I don't obsess over colour vinyl either, I prefer 1st pressings, if they happen to be coloured, so be it. I like alternate covers though and do collect several pressings of the same record from time to time. I sang in a few bands for the last 25 years or so, but now I consider myself semi-retired from that mostly due to bad time management and preferring to spend time with my family. My favourite early (aka 1-22) Rev release is GB's Start Today LP, but there are probably about 100 other records I would put before that, Including Farside Rochambeau LP (Rev 25) and Sense Field Killed For Less LP (Rev 32). I started buying records in 1981, that became exclusively punk/hc/metal in 1984, and I really caught the collector bug in 1988 while trying to hunt down early Rev releases among others, but it was looking for the Together comp 7" that drove my passion for record fairs and trading in the mail. Here is a semi-complete list of what I have and what I want, howsyouredge.com/swap/display.php?page=1817
