What are your thoughts?
Thought we could have a list of say the top 30 most sort after records, with a price guide for each record. Chung King to - WarZone on clear to Bringin' It down on Green.

A price guide may also increase prices... It seems like everyone selling Rev records wants more for their copy than what they've seen the last copy of that specific record sell for. Not that I blame them for that. But, indeed, it's not like the whole world is reading this board.

this could cause a lot of pain for people who want these records. out of respect to all the future rev collectors, i dont think i would do this.

Based on the price of the Kiss It Goodbye 7" test on ebay right now (which still has a couple of hours to go), I would say that the above records are probably worth somewhere between two and three million dollars each.

That link gets created automatically by the messege board whenever you copy paste from some thread it links you to the thread you copied from. It's a shit feature imo.

I say leave it to www.popsike.com and www.vinylnoize.com for price guide These pages have most of what we are looking for or selling. Also I'd say chung king is @ $4,000 But why does GB and Judge 1st press lps on color wax out price final pressings that are 3 to 4x rarer?

First/old presses > new press.

yes, the last few sold on private for more than 3000$ (3000 euros) so i guess on ebay they would even sell for more.

Really that much??? looking back at that one german guy who bought the chung king test for $4800(?), doesnt really seem like that bad of a deal now! i forget his ebay name, but did i curse his name all the time because he would outbid on so many good records. disclaimer, im sure he was a nice guy. i was just a bitter ebay loser. haha. same goes with barfighter, he is a rad dude, just loved out bid everyone. i wonder what that guy is up to these days? dan do you know?

Geoff, barfighter wrote me around 2 years ago that he lost the interest in collecting records. At that time he sold his raritys like the Bold test on green and his CK. But as much as I know he still loves HC music. The ebay name of the other guy was "trash-s" and I remember very well that he was the highest bidder on almost all rare records on ebay for a long time. Haven`t known that he bought the CK test. Doesn`t that auction ended earlier?

But there are still some pieces that will prob ruin me! one of the cool things about the YOT on orange, many of them are in such great condition. they went into collections for sake of being collected. paolo, i think youre correct, theres no turning back on that price. it might vary $80 or so, but its going to remain high.
