I was wondering who I can ask some questions about Samhain and Misfits records.

Misfits central did not answer my question, it only confused me even more. What I want to know is, what is a decent price for a nm-/vg+ Samhian - November Coming Fire LP? And can someone confirm this is legit og copy of Beware?

there is also a forum on misfits central..... other than that Jeff Lasich is probably the person i would hit up. i'm not sure about this stuff. i never really got into collecting misfits records because of all the bootlegs and how much of a headache it must be because of the fact that bootlegs are trying to be exact duplicates....but a few things i've gathered just from looking at misfits central..... first.... does the picture (or my computer) just make the label look blue??? and it is actually black and white??? aside from that, my understanding is that the labels are different from what you have shown. *side one should have "misfits" logo and side two should have the crimson ghost *there should be some smoke next to Jerry Only (under the Misfits) on the cover. * there should be NO black strip above the BEWARE on the cover. *i'm pretty sure there should be no white strip across the top on the back of the cover * one bootleg version has the song Return Of the Fly on side 2, but it isn't listed on the cover. *if the matrix etching is "hand written" instead of typed it's a boot. *if the matrix etching on side 2 is typed and has MIX instead of MAX it's a boot. .......i think....... some photos i found on misfits central that might help.... s27.photobucket.com/albums/c166/champ_sound/Beware/

Would be interesting to know if anybody in this world has collected every single misfits record and it's variants (there must be about 6 million!).

Thanks, I registered at Misfits Central. I noticed those pictures and I am certain it is a boot, but it just isn't listed on the site.
The seller who offered me a good deal if it was real probably don't know it is a bootleg, he is a early Danzig fan but he picked up a bunch of Samhain and Misfits records too in the late 80's and he wanted to sell me for reasonable prices.

Would be interesting to know if anybody in this world has collected every single misfits record and it's variants (there must be about 6 million!). There really aren't as many variants as you might think. And the ones that do exist are pretty well known. There were two different purples in Static Age, and Earth AD has some cool mixes mainly because of the colors they used. Nico, that Beware is a boot (I know it has been established, but wanted to say that anyway.) A regular pressing of NCF, maybe $40 or so. Also, I am always looking for Misfits records and legit posters, flyers, etc. Even black pressings of lp and boots of 7"s (I will not pay much or trade high for those though.)
