Very cool pictures, weird that it doesn't look so crowded. It's '89, the band is not very well known, same for Rev label, still pretty small scale. A friend of mine caught this tour and said the distro the band had with them was awesome: tons of Chain, Judge, GB, etc 7" 's all in a row in a long box. Each $3 or so, so he bought one of each. Cool pics Paolo!! CIv's 1st tattoo appears to be the ape on his leg (now I'll let Geoff put that in the fun facts section :-) )

You are right! and if memory serves correct, Start Today wasn't out yet at the time, so they only toured with the 7" out. They came back in '91 or '92, and they were huge, saw them again in Italy in Bologna and they had literally hundreds of kids singing along, even though the line up with Porcell and Sammy was more of a "all star" band than the real GB.. Don't remember of the distro table in '89 though, I think I would have gladly grab a ton of vinyls !

I thought the Start Today 12" on we bite was for sale for the 89 tour. And then the S/T 12" on we bite was for sale on the 91 tour?

Start Today was out way before the '89 tour, long enough for me to learn most of the words so I could sing along anyway.

sure did - best buy of the year (even though it just started). i have several first presses but couldn't pass on a minty low numbered one. paid way too much but worth ever penny. sometimes you just have to pull the trigger.

I might be able to help you with a Gilman. Might already be gone though. Message me.
Edit: it has been sold. Wasn't mine.

I'm sure some of us here were also bidding on it. For records like these you sometimes just have to dig a bit deeper in your pockets if you can afford it. I agree, worth every penny.
