This is kinda off topic but I need to know. The first thing I noticed when I saw that picture is the beautifulness of the condition of the sleeves. To everyone who collects, what's your policy for the sleeve condition? Will you get them anyway and then in a future you figure out how to replace your old copy with one in better conditions or you'll only buy the vinyl if you see it looks in great shape?

i don't care that much about the condition. as long as i get the records.
i don't like them to be like new. i like mine use but good.

Is that Shelter - Perfection Of Desire with the white background the test? yes, its a test. its the rejected test i think. i had a really beat up cover sent to me by rev ans padding, so i just cut it up and threw it on the test as a cover. its my least favorite cover i have made. funny that you picked up on so quick, haha.

I like it, haha. What other covers have you made? ive got a couple of them photographed in the test press thread. i should upload the other ones too. one of my favorite covers i made is from the first himsa 7". that turned out pretty interesting. spent way too much time on that one. most of them take just a little bit of time, that one was hand cut out. im a big fan of that record, i know most dont like it.

HypothesisThe versions with the Gilman purple stamp were sold are the Gilman show, the version that dosent have the stamp were sold via rev or at other shows?

we need someone to confirm that all the copies the band had with them at the Gilman show were actually sold. if so, your hypothesis is quite presumable.

lets post one more before i head home. Can I see a reflection of you wearing shades in the record? I suppose the record is that good that you can't look directly at it's crucial-ness.

Geoff, I love your pics and storys behind these! More please! thanks! the one thing ive noticed is that the details about how i obtained the records is getting less detailed. to the point of where i dont remember a thing. a perfect example is this record. ive had it so long that im not sure where and when i got it.
