Hi Dwid, only last week bought a red In Contrast of Sin 7" with the Joker cover off a guy named Stephen Richnafsky (North Royalton OH). He says he got that one directly from you. Would you be able to confirm this is the real thing? I've seen a ton of boots of that floating around. The only other supposedly real one that I saw a picture of was the one that Guav (a guy I know from Syracuse) had. Let me know please.

maybe everything I got from Integrity was given to me from Dwid same with any Confront and OLC all from Mean Steve and Dwid. So this 7" from the man himself that made them in the 90s haha
That's a straight copy/paste from his emails.
I think he uses a nickname xbluex as well if that rings any bells.

I can't explain it in a better way.
Since we have only 6 of this cover, is understandable that some people made a bunch of fake sleeve, if you do it for yourself and your personal collection, I think it's fine.
But to sell a fake as an original really sucks!
Also, this reading just make me think at chubby fresh and white power...I can't believe I still have to hear something like that in 2017.

I was asking that guy about that joker sleeve about 6, 7 months ago when it showed up on eBay. He had the same pictures up that were used in the 2012 auction and he changed them to updated pictures, the pictures he changed them to looked like a copy of the cover used in the 2012 auction the 2012 cover has some wrinkles and creases but the pictures of the cover he updated didn't have those wrinkles and creases it was crisp looking. And from the 2012 and just reacent auction it's the same seller. That's when I asked Dwid about it and he told me there was 6 and a victory records stamp, he also said he didn't know anything about a drawing inside the cover. I told that guy selling it what Dwid told me and he said he didn't know why he would say that but he also told me he would get ahold of Dwid to verify but couldn't get ahold of him. So I messaged Dwid and he got right back to me.

He replied that it was him listing it but it was a non-paying bidder.
I thought it sounded reasonable at the time.

Marcus is always right haha I'm not sure about that. But I've been collecting Integrity records for a long time, and I wouldn't touch copies of this with a bargepole. I distinctly remember reading an interview with Damien from the band Fucked Up once, which was (I think) in Record Collector magazine. I think he mentioned having one of the Joker sleeve 7"s. There may even have been a picture. Makes me wonder whether he also got ripped off and actually owns a boot too. |

When I asked him about that and him using the same pictures he told me someone stole his pictures and he couldn't believe it got done for that much, the min he said that I knew he was full of bs and that's when he changed the auction pictures |

I filed a paypal claim attaching his emails stating clearly and on several occasions that he got the record directly from Dwid or "the man himself that made them in the 90s haha" as he eloquently put it, to which he responded (in the paypal claim):
"I don't understand I got this from Mean Steve back in the day when I picked up a bunch of his records like the OLC test presses."
While it clearly is a photocopy of the bootleg (not even of an original) that chubby was selling in that 800 auction.

Just got this guy in the mail a couple days ago. Anybody know which pressing this is? I can't figure it out..    Looking for something else I saw pic again. Did anybody ever find out what it is and did anyone ever see another one of this? The paper looks way thicker than the regular paper used on 3rd pressings. Or am I wrong? |

The mystery cover. Nobody knows. I tried asking Rev and they had no clue. I had one on my GB 2nd press test press that i won in a rev auction and Kevin Finn told me he had never seen one before either when he sent it. Im looking for another one now
