It is down, I found out this morning.
Does anyone know when the board site got suspended?

I did not really post there anymore, but there were tons of interesting threads on it. Sad that its gone.

I know...times change etc. But why does online stuff, conversation, info and discussions have to be so temporary?
Just like I miss the Livewire board as well..

I think the site went down about two weeks ago. A few days before I was checking pressing info, then went back a couple of days later & it was down.

If the site doesn't come back I think I'll miss the pressing info more than the message board.

I have to wonder if React! is on the way out. Seems much quieter the last year or two, and the last two releases (For Pete's Sake & Remission) didn't seem to get too much promotion. I wouldn't be surprised if it shut down permanently within the next 12 months.

I really hope it doesn't though. It's a great label.

I don't miss the Livewire messageboard at all. Over the last years of its existence it got insanely toxic on there. It also opened new perspectives on some of the people who played on records or did labels I had been listening to for years. I guess Ed just got sick and tired of the exchanges on the board and I'm glad he took it down.

Thanks. So not too long ago.

Had some fun times on that board, but left it several years ago.

Also, the Photobucket disaster killed it off even more, so many good collection pics on there. RIP I guess.

I agree with your ideas about the label, it just feels different after Aram left it to other dudes. In 2013, just looked it up.

On a side note, anyone heard the new Remission record?

reasontorevelate the new Remission LP, yeah mate, it’s really good. I think it takes a few listens to appreciate but I really enjoy it.
