as many of you know from my IG posts, i went to revhq. something i have always wanted to do, just never got around to it. well finally marcus lit a fire under my ass and we went. it ended up being everything i have daydreamed about. great people, (much, much credit adam who hooked us up big time), great stories, and learned so much about rev. i saw the craziest records. some of the records that only have been recently noted. so many that no one really has known about outside of rev. by far the most legendary record i go to see was the warzone lion attacking a horse. it exists. it was pretty much as expected, but i see why is has been kept a secret for so long. just like others have said from second hand knowledge, i can confirm there are still lots silver sleeves there. they are all untouched and mint. same with other records, like the gb on yellow. the test presses, i dont even know where to start. so many, that it was honestly overwhelming. tests that i could only dream of owning.
i was able to buy a bunch of records straight from the warehouse helping me catch up on the represses for the collection. thanks to marcus for investigating the movielife on green.
i knwo some will want to know, did i buy anything from the vault? (i didnt) i honestly could go on for days about the stuff i saw. it was endless.

I too can confirm that, from a record collector's point of view, it was incredible.
So incredible, in fact, that at one point I had to leave the room and go outside to calm down.

one of the records i really wanted to see from the vault was the black and orange mix together comp. only 2 are known to exist, this one, and kev finns copy. its very much a dark orange. held to light you can see the orange vinyl, but laying down it could be mistaken for that cheap "brown" vinyl of the early 90's Hopefully this link works:

im just going to jump all over the place with these posts. if there are any specific questions please ask. one thing about the warehouse part of rev, it was freaking hot. LA/OC has great weather most of the time. low humidity, moderate temperatures, but when i was visiting it was hot. ray totally agreed with me about the heat. another ray tidbit, i want to know who at rev did this? just because i did the same thing for the disengage final press too. the bonus questions that was asked, what is rev sleeve behind the disengage sleeve? thats some next level rev nerd knowledge if you know.

another record i have always wanted to get my hands on a start today test press. for decades i wanted to own one and realized it wasnt going to happen. but i know i have held on in my hands. this was the very first record i grabbed while i was in the vault. it just happened to be sitting out on top of the 7" boxes. it was fantastic.

right underneath the gb test press was another random test press hanging out on shelves. yet another record i tried to find for decades, and finally gave up on. a judge 1st press test. two legendary heavy hitters just hanging out together. unbelievable. it honestly was a great feeling to hold these in my hands. 45 years old and felt like i was in my 20's again. giddy like a child too.

Amazing! Go on with stories and curiosity Also would like to know about the leftovers of WZ on clear... i thought that there would be a ton of warzones on clear in the vault, but there were less than i expected. along those clear warzone lines, and this is touching on something that im not sure if i can talk about, i saw one that was so unbelievable that even if i told you it existed im sure some would say i was lying. sadly my wife didnt get a photo of it, but marcus did. it honestly could be the most desirable rev record of all time. not even exaggerating. sidenote, i only took a few photos. i was far too overwhelmed and couldnt be bothered taking photos. i now regret that, but my wife did a great job snapping off a bunch of shots. seeing that many insanely rare records is a crazy feeling. you kind of forget about the rest of the world and can only see records at that point.

i saw this container of screening ink and instantly recognized it as rev yellow! kind of cool to see it just hanging out there. in case people didnt know, rev screens many of their own shirts in house at revhq. there are a few that they get made elsewhere. so they squeeze the screen printing set up to the side. its impressive how much they have wedged in that warehouse.

Never knew the hoax originated from the trustkill board.

(but it would be cool if one of those did exist.)
