The " 4th Press" listed above came earlier than the 2002 " 2nd Press". If I'm remembering correctly, I bought mine from the No Idea distro in the late 90s. Definately before 2002. I'm pretty sure the " 3rd Press" is actually from the same pressing as the 1st press, they just put OG labels on the vinyl. They also did some that came with the OG album art but had the 1997 labels (not mentioned here). As far as I know they are all from the first pressing. That would make the " 4th Press" the 2nd press, and the " 2nd Press" the "Final Press". Until all the new pressings, of course. Confusing. So that would make it: 1st Press (1997)217 Orange Vinyl Black Vinyl 550 Black Vinyl w/OG labels Black Vinyl w/OG sleeve Matrix: A: REV:08-A RE-1 S-31988-RE-2 39417 B: REV:08-B RE-1 S-31989 L-39417X 2nd Press Black vinyl with different B-side matrix Matrix: A: REV:08-A RE-1 S-31988-RE-2 39417 B: TRT-B-YOUTH OF TODAY - "BREAK DOWN THE WALLS" S-31989-RE-1 L-49163X 3rd Press (2002)440 White vinyl : of these 380 came with regular covers and 60 came with silkscreened and numbered card covers sold at Posi Numbers 2002 Matrix: A: REV:08-A RE-1 S-31988-RE-2 39417 B: REV:08-B RE-1 S-31989 L-39417X (I was standing there while these were being sold at Posi Numbers and thought "No, I'll pass." I'm such an idiot.)

Both are incorrect I believe. According to the pressing info the white vinyl was part of the 2001 press. Rev pressing

So maybe this:(?) 1st Press (1997)217 Orange Vinyl Black Vinyl Matrix: A: REV:08-A RE-1 S-31988-RE-2 39417 B: REV:08-B RE-1 S-31989 L-39417X 2nd Press Black vinyl with different B-side matrix Matrix: A: REV:08-A RE-1 S-31988-RE-2 39417 B: TRT-B-YOUTH OF TODAY - "BREAK DOWN THE WALLS" S-31989-RE-1 L-49163X 3rd Press (2001)440 White vinyl : of these 380 came with regular covers and 60 came with silkscreened and numbered card covers sold at Posi Numbers 2002 550 Black Vinyl w/OG labels Black Vinyl w/OG sleeve Matrix: A: REV:08-A RE-1 S-31988-RE-2 39417 B: REV:08-B RE-1 S-31989 L-39417X

Any guesses as to why REV would do a 2nd Press with a different B-Side matrix?
And then go back to the 1st Press B-Side for the 2001 pressing?
What's the matrix on the recent blue/red/green pressings?

The latest represses (red, blue and green) all have the same matrix as the first press;
A: REV:08-A RE-1 S-31988-RE-2 39417 B: REV:08-B RE-1 S-31989 L-39417X
As to why Rev changed it for the second press and then changed back. I have no idea.

So I've got good or bad news (depending on your perspective) for all the youth of today completists, Dobek I'm looking in your direction. There is another BDTW press not listed on here. I got this awesome Youth of Today record in the mail today. Thanks again Luke! It looks like the 3rd or whatever press, however it has a different matrix from the ones listed above. Matrix - A: REV:08-A RE-1 S-31988 - RE-2 39417 B: REV-8-B RE-1 31989 L-39419-X

Wait isnt that 1997/2001 insert? So can it be a 2001 press (with 1988 labels) and leftover sleeves from the 1st or 2nd press?

There's so much you don't know lol Haha this is true, yet despite my ignorance, in about a week I will be one or two records away from completing my YOT LP collection. So I've got that going for me, which is nice. Here are the early rev presses I have for comparison, they all have different shades of blue. From left to right. 1st press, 5th or 6th press, 3rd press, the one you are asking about.

Hey Regan
I know i have it typed,
A: REV:08-A RE-1 S-31988 - RE-2 39417 B: REV-8-B RE-1 31989 L-39419-X
and Dobek has it
A: REV:08-A RE-1 S-31988-RE-2 39417 B: REV:08-B RE-1 S-31989 L-39417X
I know i have that B: side typed REV-8 but i know that is how i read it and maybe Dobek typed it out wrong as REV:8
BUT did i stuff up the bit in the B: side S - 31989 ?
Did i miss the S - ??
OR
Is it not on the matrix??
I told you they were confusing! :-(
I definitely had the S - typed on the 1997 press in our emails Mate but not the copy above?
Can you confirm and let me know please!
I think i may owe you a refund!
Thanks Mate
:-)

Anyone already noticed there is a mistake in the tracklisting of the red BDTW reissue of 2012? The first B-side track is "Break Down The Walls", while there is mentioned on the backside of the sleeve that it's "Shout It"...
