i have always wanted to know if slipknot from iowa was ever aware of the rev slipknot. there are so a few coincidences here. 1. the cover of the record features an ominous masked profile 2. there is a song titled no.9 I was pretty stoked to grab the red vinyl at a local record store, and to purchase an original knot shirt off the machine. pretty sick. one time i was wearing it around the house doing shit and i left the house, and ended up having dinner at a mildly fancy resto and i cant even begin to describe the looks i was getting from folks wearing this shirt. ppl=shit ps would be interested to get a test of this beeyotch pps i entered some pics but theyre not displaying?[glow=red,2,300][/glow]

Sorry mike they are different bands. If you use the quick reply option it dosent give you the option to add in photos, but if you use the normal reply button you can.

Revelation Records has stated a couple of times that this was only pressed once, same as Ray & Porcell. Wouldn't that mean there were only 3500 in black and both sleeves belong to the first pressing? Or do you think they did more than the first press?

I think there was a "Rev Fun Fact" were someone related to Slipknot (Iowa) emailed rev about ownership of the band name. But I think the guy soon dropped it after he found out that Slipknot (NY) came before Slipknot (Iowa)

I'm pretty sure its just chance. Funny if they were massive slipknot fans back in the day.

I'm away from my records at the moment, but I'm watching my list on my computer and it says that one of my copies of the Slipknot 7" has a note from Jordan to a certain Jeff.
Once I've been able to look that up and scan it, I'll put it here!

This thread made me want to break out this 7" and listen to it. I forgot what it sounds like completely and I don't have mp3's of it. Didn't know that the cover has a face, I can see it now. I have a black vinyl with no barcode on the sleeve...the music reminds me of COC. It's not bad but....forgettable.
